Returning vet ready for a guild

Hello,

I am currently in search of a guild on Atlantic. I played from beta-2007, then returned last summer. I've been getting back in to the game enough to want to join a guild, but my past guild is non-existent. Any suggestions? Here's what I'm looking for:
-No kiddies, no drama
-PvM
-a family-like atmosphere
-laid back people with a good sense of humor
-close-knit and not gigantic
-RP is ok so long as I'm not expected to PvP and defend the world.

Here's what I offer:
-Laid back, fun attitude
-Past guild leadership for 9 years with Order of the Flame (not that I need to lead, but it might be handy having someone around who can talk to people)
-Help to new people and a willingness to listen

Hi Aleena! Welcome back to Atlantic.

There are certainly a lot of good guilds on Atlantic. Yet, I hesitate to recommend a specific guild, since I cannot guarantee no drama. You could try looking at some guild listings here: http://vboards.stratics.com/showthread.php?t=7423.

UWF is an adult, PvM guild, but we do occasionally see spikes in drama. Fortunately, the discontented drama-makers don't stick around very long. You also might check out ODE - I think they're primarily PvM.

There are a lot of good guilds out there, but sadly, I don't know any that do not have some drama on and off. We try to keep it to a minimum - as I am sure everyone does.

And yes Syrus... ODE is at least 99.5% PVM - with a little crafting and house design thrown in.

Unfortunately, I suppose we fall under the gigantic blanket. But that doesn't exclude us from having a family atmosphere. Our GM insists that the guild chat remain PG-13 and we encourage our members to assist their guild mates in being successful. In any large group there are almost always cliques, people who develope tight bonds and work together on various projects where they share a common interest. And, as people become more or less active within the group these relationships evolve. So it is with us.

We are always looking to add veteran players who share our values. Mature players who can remain calm and who, by nature, reduce the stress within the group would be welcome in UWF or any other similar PvM guild.

Thank you all so much for your replies. I've met many of your guildmates in-game and I appreciate the offers from such terrific guilds (that have stood the test of time, I might add).

I think I have found the right fit for a guild...one that fits my somewhat "elder" status and one that requires drunkenness, haha.
