I played and quit during AoS. Just returning after 7 years. I played back when the game came out as well.

I returned hoping to find Kingdom Reborn graphics. But they aren't in the Enhanced Client anymore I am told. Are they ever coming back? KR graphics looked fantastic.

Welcome back. No more KR, but perhaps the Classic or Enhanced Clients will grow on you.

The EC client is KR. It was just reworked to be more player friendly. The graphics are still there though.

Really? It doesn't look anything like the KR screenshots on UO.com

The over-all landscape (Terrain) is still KR, but most all of the items, monsters, etc. are all 2D.

Fyi We also have a semi new forum for the Enhanced client, You will find a lot of information there and also resident moders who Can answer most if not all of your questions about EC/KR (although Kr is no longer with us these are the same moders who worked on mods for it also)

Personally, I never got the KR client to work properly, All the gumps were different and alot of the artwork wasn't familiar to me.

With EC the gumps and artwork are mostly from 2d with a fantastic UI and 3d models/terrain. Much much better imo.

They changed it to appease a player-base with outdated computers - so it will run well on lower spec machines than KR did.
