Returning newb

So I reactivated one of my accounts I had closed. I played mainly on LA where I haplessly gave all of my stuff away, but I had some gold, an ethy and a few other trinkets here. I logged in yesterday to the reminder that my only character here still sucks, but I'm going to give it the old College Try and see if I can build some skills. I hate to say it but hide/stealth are 2 of my starters. A newbs gotta survive somehow right ? Anyway if you hear someone chopping trees or banging away with a shovel, it's nobody important.

Thanks for the welcome so far. Im wondering what i'm doing wrong with regards to Stealth ? My hiding is at 80, and Stealth is at 61.1, however over the past 30 minutes my last 3 gains have been hiding only...80.3...I'm guessing that what I'm wearing will need to be adjusted for gains ?

Add a piece of armor that might induce a fail. Anything non medable. Once you hit 75 the rest is just gravy.

good to see another join our world. welcome to siege .for me , its the only shard i'll play. siege is definitely a challenge but dont give up . its worth it .
there ARE people around . were usually out doing things tho . you wont find us hanging around banks .
however , im sure if you ask on general chat someone will usually respond . if not it may mean we are in the middle of something and dont want to be found . try again in a little while . also , the main leader of NEW is having issues with an ill father so right now might be hard to find them . again dont give up . eventually one of the emissaries will be on .

if you need some basic goods im always willing to help a newb . ask for unclesham or borg in game or pm me here . i can craft pretymuch anything.

remember , dont carry what you cant afford to lose . death is pretymuch inevitable . dont stress over it . its part of the deal.
try to keep at least one backup suit ready in the bank . consider it pre-paid insurance.

also dont be ashamed to speak up . im sure if you are down to your last suit and need help someone will help . weve all been there.
