Resists with Magic Reflect

I run with both protection and magic reflect on a human bard. I can load up on physical resist as high as I want with imbuing, but it seems to be capped at 65 phys resist. What is going on here?

16 phys on 6 armor pieces, plus 28 on jewels = 124 total phys.

Minus 20 for magic reflect and minus 15 for protection leaves 89. What did I miss?

Magic reflect brings your phy resist cap to 65.

It got changed not to long ago. It doesnt work now like it used to do.
