Is it true that your green does not go down in a residence lot?
If so, could you teach without having your green go down?

Yes its true that green does not go down on Residence lots - neither does it go up, your motives are frozen.

You can't teach on Residence lots !

You pretty much can't do anything on residental lots but interact. Also when you interact you automatically have all of the interactions available but once you leave the lot they go away

True, your needs dont move. But you 'have' the teaching interaction, we just cant use it. We cant skill or anything either, nothing that would be considered cheating
But we do have all the interactions of someone with maxed skills!

Because we don't lose green, Residential lots are best for making friends, enemies, and having parties.

It does not work for gaining skills, making money or any other hard-core game goal...it is just for fun.

If you arrived on a residential lot red and then leave again you will be still red, unless of course you green up before you leave again. The only plus on a residential lot is that you don't need to green.
Personally I find that catagory useless now. I had a couple of residential lots before the merge. I have changed one of them to money lot. The other one I am leaving alone for now because I am not using that sim at the moment.

If you wanted to set up sim errmm avatar size chess, checkers or backgammon using floor tiles to mark out your board and the game pieces, then residence lots would be a great category to do this.

They'd also be good for any kind of group games like simball or golf. Once we get the ability to script items then car racing and stuff like that would also be ideal on residential !

[/ QUOTE ]Agreed. Residential lots are awesome for friend-linking, because you have every interaction available to you - even those belonging to skill levels you haven't earned yet.
