Reptile spellbook

hello,
I have a couple of questions... are there any blessed reptile slayer spell books? Do they increase the damage of ev's or RC towards reptiles? Are lava lizards considered reptiles? And what am I looking to pay for one if anyone has one for sale? Thanks for your time and help with this.

Reptile spellbook are not blessed
I believe slayer do more damage for direct spells not summons
I would also guess yes lave lizards are reptiles
If.....and I mean if you can find a Reptile slayer spellbook for sale I'd guess about 2 mil

Yes, you get a superslayer book every 10k blank scrolls or so as you make spellbooks.

I thought slayer talismans only work for warrior templates...casters can only get slayer bonus from slayer books and only for direct damage spells (no summons)...I might be wrong though...

Hmm haven't thought of that before. I am mainly looking for ways to use my caster to do more damage with ev's or rc's

Another question... would a -20 mage weapon work as well like a bow with reptile slayer on it or would I have to have archery to make that work?

I use a mage bow with elemental slayer on it when mining with gargoyle pickaxes to kill the eles that spawn. No Archery needed.

A Reptile Slayer should. How much damage your spells will do after the minus from the bow will be reduced but you might come out ahead with the bows damage added in. I know the gnarled staff's I often use at times help or hinder the damage Tanivar can do depending on the monster he's fighting up close and personal in spots to closed in to keep the range open. Try the bow and see how it does vs various monsters.
