[Report] Exodus Machines Invade Britannia! (Mon 23rd/Fri 26th)

Reports about machine sightings in Luna backed up the fiction recently posted on the EM website, You can read it here: I Robot.

Later that evening further sightings were circling about these machines in Despise, Deceit and Covetous.

In Despise Betrayers and Blackthorn Juggernauts were mixing in with the Ogres and Etins.

Further machines were found in Hythloth.

Once killed, on the corpses were metal books. From collecting over that day we have the following:

Ignoring the binary they seem to read the following:

Book 1: CORE PROGAM OVERIDE

Book 2: SEEK AND RECOVER

Book 3: UNDERGROND SEEK LOST ITEMS

Book 4: RETURN LOST ITEMS AT ALL COSTS

On Friday further sightings of machines were spotted near Moonglow, Britain, Skara Brae, Vesper and Yew.

The Guardsmen from Yew arrive at Moonglow to try help push the machines back to where ever they came from!

Further Juggernauts, Betrayers and Overseers spawn near Skara Brae.

On the way to Britain more machines were found transversing through the mountain pass.

At Stonekeep near Yew the machine forces were growing stronger.

The Guardsmen did their best to protect their land from these slow moving clunky machines.

Eventually, Hours later, The machines were no longer visible in the forest. It was quiet once more, But for how long? We'll need to wait and see.

The calm before the storm, looks like the usual scouting missions, before all hell breaks loose again. Question is will there be more sightings of small intrusions or will they just become frustrated at the interference from us and just invade with full force.

All I can say is make sure your armor is in good condition and swords are sharp, maces are heavy ones and spells are ready, because they are coming.

I have not really been following this event as much as I would like to have, due to rl and other ingame things, but hopefully I will have more time now, just have to read up on things as they stand now, thanks to you Mapper and others I can do that fast without having to go searching to much.

Due to RL I have missed everything this week so thanks Mapper for a great report and piecing it all together, lets hope sunday I get some me time to go.

For once, I didn't miss this one, as where ever I went, they kept spawning right on top of my head At one point I even went back to my own home to check they weren't waiting for me there! I also had intense difficulty getting my pets, even on Guard to attack the Exodus Minions, having to bounce one of my own spells off them first before they would for some reason.... There didn't seem to be anything of note on any of the invaders, except Dawn Box gears which some people thought were new, but I've not been back long enough to know if this is the case. There were also rumours of a pink cloak locked down near the Bucs Den gate outside Vesper, which someone said they thought was Nathan's. And there was a debate in General Chat as to whether this had always been visible in Magincia or not;

The ones near Vesper were more accurately around the Minoc moongate, almost immediately to the west, and to the south on the corner of the graveyard outside Vesper... but in the end, apart from being near the roads to the major cities, we could discern no pattern or meaning behind the activity. Perhaps Nathan will make more clear tonight.

Someone corrected me about the structure in Magincia, it's not exactly 'new', been there a little while (although not a huge amount of time, since it contains some stacked granite). Sadly my memory was it's usual erratic self, I sort of recognised the thing, but persuaded myself it was new anyway

The Cloak in the forrest is also long there - at least since some weeks when i
first stubled over it

Could the invasion of the machines and their search for something underground
and return at all cost have something to do with the recent finding of Sherry
the Mouse under Castle British?

I personally don't think the stories are related Crest, We may find out more when Part 2 comes out if they are related.

The pink cloak was indeed Nathans, he dropped it when he was kidnapped and we had to go rescue him from the anciet Wyrm in Ishena. Was a fun nigt with Hannah puttng rope across the gap and up to the enterance of he cave so everyone could enter, (EMs pulling peeps to them, as they could not teleport). As for the structure in Magincia we built it to fool Mericles the evil necromancer and father of Hannah. We claimed it was a gate we had built into the void knowing it would get Mericles attention and once we had him we took him prisoner.

As for these Machines and there searching I hope we will know more soon as my heads spinning with so many loose ends and possibilities.

I'm almost certain they're related - remember that the incubators were built from Exodus blueprints, that we reclaimed.
