Replica shrouds not blessable?

I just tried to bless my embroidered oak leaf cloak with a clothing bless deed, and the message I get is:
This bless deed is for clothes only.

Uhm *scratches head*, aren´t shrouds considered to be clothes?

No because they have properties on the shroud they're considered an item.

Get an item bless deed.

Hm I think, I read somewhere that the clothing replicas should be blessable with a cbd. *searches for the info-source*

Tbh, with insurance bugs around it would truly keep me leaving my shroud at home, if it isn´t blessable

Divine Countenance and the Hat of the Magi are clothing items with properties and they can be blessed with a clothing bless deed...

Its because the shroud itself has never specifically been a "clothing item", and aside from I think a single EM item there has never been a need before for that to change.

It is not clothing. I found that out 2 years ago, when I tried to bless my Ghostly Shroud of Spookiness. When they said the new items would be repairable with repair deed I was hoping I could bless my Ghostly Shroud.

Ah well I´m still happy that I got it, even if it´s not blessable
