Repairs

Hello! I loved UO back in the late 90's and am enjoying getting back into the game.

However I can't seem to find repair contracts anywhere. Nor do I see players hanging out by the anvil like was the case back in the day. My Vendor Search has been grayed out since I started again.

Where can I find a solution to repair my gear? This is more than frustrating!

Vendor search only works in your own houses, and various safe-logout areas (I usually can get it to work in Luna, once you get past the mage shop).

Most people that hang out, hang out in Luna. If you ask in General chat, often you can find someone to make repair deeds for you for little or no cost.

Still haven’t had any luck fidnintg anyone able to assist with repairs, nor have I found any contacts.

Is it better to just create a character dedicated to smithing? Or join a Guild? The people in Luna have been great and I've been given a lot of gear but still haven't found these Contracts or a Smith!

Right click your self... Vendor search... Search repair or something similar
