Howdy folks,
I read and tried Storm's rename macro in Pinco's Guide post, but I'm having difficulties. I've played with a number of different macros and searched for marcos for this, but to no avail.
I can get a targeting cursor to come up to rename just by saying (using a macro or just hitting enter and typing it) "I wish to rename into (new name)". Can't get it to target my fresh tame in a macro no matter what I seem to try.
As for the release part of it, even if I hit enter and type in, "I wish to release (Name, being whatever the new pet name is)", I can't get that to work, can't even get a cursor to come up. The only way I can release is the old fashion way of clicking on the tame, going down the list to release, and then answering the question that comes up. Is there a setting in Pinco UI that I might have set wrong?
So, what am I missing here? I'm using the EC, I'm in New Haven trying to figure this out. I keep thinking that maybe I will have to do 2 macros (and that would be ok with me), one for renaming and one for releasing.
Lordy I hope there's an easy way to do this without so many clicks and targets. Anyone gotten this to work, and would you please share if you have had success?
