Regarding Storage Space

could use a little help here. am getting ready to xfer some things.

Would someone please tally up the bank box, packies, backpack, and whatever else we have available...... hopefully at base, +20%, +40%, and +60%..... and do we have an upgrade to +80% available?

The only thing that you listed that is effected by ANY of the storage upgrades is the bankbox.

All the other containers you listed there have a maximum item limit of 125 items.

No there is currently no higher upgrade than 60% for houses and 40% for bankboxes.

A 20% upgrade for the bankbox is 150 items and a 40% upgrade has a 175 item limit.

Whatever upgrades you had over time will be with you no matter what shard you will go to.

Now... if you are looking for ugrades NOW... I don't even think its possible to get all the bonuses we've gotten over the years in one shot. Thinking about it, its like we are overdue for another storage bonus. Maybe next fall.

You can still get all the storage bonuses. Everyone now has the 20% house storage space increase from Mondain's Legacy.

You can still purchase the bank and storage upgrade from Origin. It's listed as the 2007 storage upgrade on your account. It includes another 20% for house storage and increases bank storage to 150.

Then, you can purchase the High Seas Booster for another 20% increase in house and bank storage.

This equates to 60% house storage increase and 40% bank storage increase.

In addition to the limits, please keep in mind that you have to take into account the weight of items. When you are loading packies, beetles, backpacks for xfer, you can overload before you hit the 125 limit. You want to put the heavy things in the bank, use commodity deeds if posible for bulk items. Also make sure you tell any packies to "All Follow Me", before you click the transfer token and start the process. Some people tell they packies to "stay" while loading them, then when they transfer, the packies stay and don't transfer with you. Don't put valuables on packies either, put them in the bank or on the character being transfered. If you have never xfer before, be prepared to land in a random place on the new shard. To safely get to where you want, you will need a way to gate your packies if not bonded.

I never transferred shards, but moved houses many times. You can save weight by using commodity deeds for any stackables, thus lessening weight restrictions. I mean, 1600 deeds on a packy? There;s not that many stackables in the game!! <grin>

You can only put 125 items on a packy regardless of how little they weigh.

true ... I missed that entirely ... but still ... are there 125 stackable items in the game? <shrug>

also remember the use of vendors to hold BODs, and that increases to House storage also effect the number of the vendors you can have in the building (Vendors allowed is a function of storage space).
