Recent Post on Magic Resist Gain

Someone was recently inquiring about gaining Magic Resist and they were told to go somewhere and do it on a boat for really fast gains.

I think it was New Haven.

Can anyone clarify where the place was and what NPC or Monster they used to have cast on them?

BTW I searched for the post first, but just couldnt find it.

Spectral Spellcasters only cast spells that help you gain magic resist. If you can position yourself so only one or two can hit you, you will be able to heal easily and gain fast with half dozen or more attacking you.

JC is right that is the method they are talking about and doing it from a boat is illegal as the creatures can't get to you....better to do it the way JC says and position yourself where only a couple can hit you at a time....

when the spectral spellcasters run outa mana, should i kill them for more new ones to spawn? or does this not matter?

Is this gain as in up to 70 or can you GM?

you can gain past gm.

also dont kill them when they run out of mana, monsters gain skill too. they will gain meditation, evalint, etc.
