Really suspicious thing, possibly dupe wave?

Hi all , i found a vendor at europa selling horned runics at 100k per, and though !WOAA! a real bargain. I bought all of them (30) and next day it was restocked so i bought them again, and 2 times more the same.
So i checked the price at other shards to see if they dropped the price that much, and what is my surprise that found the same vendor (all same name in almost ALL shards) and with same vendor backpack style with same amount of horned runics and same price, for a total of MORE THAN 600 runics.

I like maths, and calculating the possiblities of this happen by chance are nearly zero. And with same amount of runic at vendor , same style bag , same price and vendor name.... well is the same to say 2 + 2 is 4......

I hope there is any way to confirm if is all from same account or something , but im almost have no doubt of this.

The question is, what will happen now or what can be done?

It is pretty unlikely that someone would dupe that item. It is more likely that the person scripts their BOD runner account. It isn't that hard to get BODs for a horned runic. This has been going on for years and years. Absolutely nothing new with what you are seeing no matter how unfortunate it is.

well i understand the scripting thing but we are talking about 600 runics, in all shards, this is more than only running a script. Even for scripting this is way too much for it.

You can find vendors with the same name selling xfer tokens for 24.95m, advance tokens, name changes and verite hammers, on most shards also. Sadly, i dont think EA/mythic cares about that.

No open dupe at the moment. My shard has him handled it looks like. Hes trying to undercut and lower the prices way below market level.

...well aside from the hammers, all those sound like someone just bought tokens for cash and wants to make some gold off of them. I don't think it's possible to dupe tokens and have them work.

I wouldnt be too worried... I mean, if someone knew how to dupe, why would he be duping horned kits? There's lot more expensive stuff to dupe.

If it is the vendor I am thinking of, I know who the owner is. He does not dupe. All I will say on that. He has LOTS and LOTS of BODs....

I think scripter too.supplement,multi-accounted and stoned.
I have 2accounts and stoned,can get a few valorite-runics by one month.
Scripter,they can do bulk-order Full automatic.not hard to get 600 runics.



I hope Devs to eliminate any kinds of scripters.

It's not barbed kits though. It's 100k for horned kits.

Seller probably see horned kits as less useful than spined kits due to imbuing and is dumping them all at low prices (about est 30% of what others are selling for?).

Agreed, within the last week I bought two BoD books with 100 PoF deeds each at an insanely low price.

Horned runics went much lower than 100k for a spell.
I saw them as low as 65k on remote vendors in Atlantic.
I personally dropped mine to 87.5k at one time.
They would sit and sit at anything above 100k and I like my product on my vendors to move more consistently.
The lack of interest in this item was due to imbuing i believe.
Of course I was dealing with at most 10 at a time through my bods.
So you may have a point on the quick restocks, but with some saavy shopping and some tactical bod running perhaps someone can amass that amount.

as was said, its most likely a scriptor or a group of scriptors. used to see a vendor like that on my home shard but now its usually only holding barbed,heartwood runics and bulk boards since they the easiest money makers for runics.

People underestimate the use of horned kits hehe. I use them for making alot of my runic blanks. Mostly aim for pieces with at least one resist over 19 and sometimes get lucky and have 2 mana regen on em right off the bat. Spined are nice for aiming for just a resist or two higher than normal but horned can get the best results for the buck. just my input on that

I cant see people duping horned kits even if it was possible now, thats not to say they didnt dupe books with 500 horned kits in, as as probably it was the same duper duping books of barbed kits and val hammers.

Plus it could be someone with ALOT of bods or that buys collections. When i was doing bods years back i was collecting and sourcing out entire collections of 10000 bods and more. Best one netted me 285 mill from 25mill for 8000 bods. I still have 23000 bods on storage on my vendor that i havent touched for over 1 year. I bet if i looked through them i could fill a tone of runic bods.

high end runics still get you the heaviest magic mod weight.
Mid level runics are used to make better than normal blank pieces to imbue
Low runics are used to make items for unraveling into resources for imbue

the only runic i can justify using is a val runic hammer to get 6 mods, barbed kits i dont think are good anymore, and by mid level if you mean horned, the chances of getting something decent are slim, its a lot cheaper just crafted a barbed leather piece of armor with a regular tailoring kit and imbuing 5 mods onto it
