I'm curious are they gm approved? or if someone reporst me for having it will a gm delete it or ban my account? I've never seen a pet like this before. Thanks!
They are 100% legal. You can email mesanna herself if you wish and ask. But no GM will delete these or the white ridgeback.
There are lots of people here who will also confirm they are 100% legal. Thanks for asking tho!
On a side note: all other ethy mounts and pets (polar bear, llama) were created by exploit and will be deleted. The hiryu and reptalon were a dev error.

why pet ETHY are legal and the crook ethy are not legal to own?

The deciding factor of which items are legal and which aren't is how they were created. Even if they look exactly the same. For the real Ethy Hiryu and Reptalon a developer accidentally created them. Since they were made by a developer, there was nothing illegal about them and it was just the developers mistake that a player was able to get them.
On the other hand the ethereal crooks were made illegally by players, and developers were not involved at all in their creation. Since a player created them illegally without a developer being involved, it makes them illegal to own.
That's the way it was explained to me a while ago at least.
We are talking about an amazing couple pets here. No offense but if you want to know why all other ethy stuff is illegal and chat about that please create a thread for that. Thanks.
