I got so far as making the master account with my email and whatnot. But my old account is not listed there. The trial account I created is, but my original, nowhere to be found. How do I get this to show so I can reactivate it?

Welp apparently ive tried using my name too many times account is locked for 30 minutes now with zero success in actually reactivating. This is pissing me off to the point of not returning -.-
you're adding _uo to the account name I guess?
I have been, attempting to do so again. After account unlocks.

Hopefully you can call in. I couldnt figure it out since its pretty much doesnt even work. Called in, had the tech guy do it. Gave me my username/pw and i was on my way.
Took all of 5 mins. Highly recommend a phone call if possible, if you cant... you might be out of luck.

Glad you got it sorted. I've just had to re-activate one of my accounts and they certainly aint made it easy. Ever since I started playing UO I have used my Credit card, when trying to re-activate using the SAME CARD it informed me that this was not a unique card number and WOULD NOT accept it.
Eventually I had to enter my Debit card number which it was quite happy with and hopefully I am sorted, until the time my next account becomes due, when I expect I will be subjected to the same stupidity.
Oh the weird and wonderful world of UO! even trying to pay for it has its bugs.
