Rares Fest Warnings

This is a thread for folks to warn each other about items that are not rare or situations that are dangerous during this rares fest. Please do not use names, just items. The point of this thread is to protect our fellow members of the community.


Here are a few to start us off...

1. A Key: ____
Keys can be renamed by to anything by double clicking the key and targeting it. There may be some keys that are no longer made, but most keys are not rare.

2. Do not go AFK at the festival in case of Harbingers or lured spawn.

3. Red Bird, Green Arrow and Orange Feathers - Items from an old exploit.

4. Colored Boards, Arrows and Kindling - Dyed

Also the deed titled "unknown" is often (but not always) just a bugged goza

all "unkown" deeds are a bugged item. they used to rareish tho before the current bug with gozas. the older ones were created long long ago and say "this deed does not seem to be for anything" when you attempt to place it. the new ones place a goza.

Make sure your teleporter to fel message is "on"
Couple of kids asked for my help today, gated me to a keep in Trammel then went in the house and said "come" and tried to get me to go over a teleporter to fel.
If the message gump had been turned off I would have ended up in Fel with a pack full of uninsured rares waiting to be vendored.

Blaze hued bottles, mugs, pitchers and goblets. These can still be made last I checked. These are not rare and extremely cheap to make.

Icy Heart - Current quest item. Tor the Iron Worker gives you a quest to obtain them.

Also remember...
Old Xmas items like the white bottle of champagne, spam, etc are newbied. Meaning you will have to display these within a container and will not be able to display them openly.
Also body parts that do not have "The" in the front are the same way.
"Magic" items can lose their special tag due to a player's actions when locked down, equipped, trade window or on a vendor. These are still not safe to have in public
