Besides the rare color parrots dropping on ML peerless bosses, is there anywhere else to hunt for them?

Rare Parrots, where to get them

I'm talking about the top line right below the nets... those colors....
As far as I know you get them from killing things in ML dungeons.... mostly named monsters.
Like Miasma.... Swoop, Irk, the spiders, and all the peerless.
They are just VERY rare.
I have 2 or 3 I think.

Well if Miasma drops them they are more than rare... as I have never gotten a rare colored one from the scorp.. and I have killed thousands upon thousands of the scorp.. Back when I was map collecting we would spend an average of 5 - 6 hours a day in there.. never a rare colored parrot..

I though you could also obtain them from the strongboxes you get as quest rewards? Was I misinformed?

No they don't redeed, they are lost forever. However you do find them in deed form or in the original form from on rare occasion.
I've killed enough of the bosses in Bedlam to carpet the entire dungeon with parrots. Never once have I seen one of the special colors.
For me this raises the question; When do you see the specially colored parrot? Is it that color in the corpse when you're looting it (never seen that) or do you have to perch the parrot the see the other colors?

i think i have a number 4 or it could be a 6, i got it from lady mel.
when they make rare colors stuff i wish they named it rare.. i probably threw out tons of rare stuff lol.
