I had a problem with a similar EM book.
When I xfered it, it became a regular editable book. You should check if you can edit the title and author and text, and if so, then it's pretty much worthless.
Anyway, people here are not so crazy about closed books with no particular color (like abyssal, tye, europa gold). So at best, I would say each book should be in the 6-12m range.

The ability to dye books really messed with some of the old rares. Is there anything to keep someone from copying the book, red leafing it and dyeing it? The green looks like it may not be able to be produced, but the second one might have a natural dye that is pretty close to it. If you can't reproduce the color and you can find a buyer educated enough to realize that... I'd estimate a value of of 15-20m each

The books originated on Oceania, so they have already long since been transferred without adverse effect. However, I cannot speak for any changes since their transfer back in 2007 or thereabouts.
To the best of my knowledge, the book colours cannot be reproduced.
The books are not editable and never have been. I think they predate red leaves by a comfortable margin.
I will have to let my scribe char try to copy them and see what happens.

I'd still be interested in them if you're selling. I would probably throw an offer of 150M for the pair. But that's only because I love books.
Used to be worth a lot, I remember those books going for 65-100m each but after the possibility to dye books its really dropped a lot. Unless you find some book collectors.
I guess Halister Marner offer is a very good one based on todays interest in these kind of items, and his Book library is pretty nice

In your skills, click inscription, click a book and then an empty book to copy it over to.
Aye, most of the EM books will copy. The colors are generally the deciding factor when it comes to collectors, unless the color can be reproduced with plant dyes, then they aren't worth much.
