Raising Magery on Greater Dragons

Anyone having luck raising magery on the greater dragons? Two nights of training on *yawn* Sphynx and no magery gains. I'd like to move on to something else, but not quite sure what. Any suggestions?

Magery over 100 can't be trained on them. They suffer only 10% magery skill loss and you'll got final skill cap.

Hmm... He was at 117, and died to Rend a couple of times before killing him <g>. He obviously went down to 116.8. Does this mean he will never be the 117 again? If not, what would you train him on?

It will train back to 117 and it does not matter what they cast on it just takes some time.
