Raising Banners and Dying Wall shields

The raising issue with both banners and shields has been an issue for years but there are ways around it. But does anyone know if theres a way around dying shields?

I would so like to be able to raise and lower banners and shields properly as well as dye shields again.. I forgot when they even became broken!

My understanding is you secure the banner and use a house tool to raise it.

If that doesn't work... Place a Goza mat and raise it with a house tool then place the banner or Shield.

We can Dye the shield? Where have I been?

Goza tiles will let you raise it, The house tools don't work, or if they do only a little bit, Like the Dragon Head statue. Goza mats allow it to be raised higher than the tool will allow.

Regarding dying I seem to remember it being either a cloth dye tube or a furny one, Was a while ago though.

regular and special tubs work on banners ~ just tried all tubs on the shields, nothing worked.. and pretty sure I've made that attempt countless times, thinking that something had to work rolleyes:

Send in dyeing shields as a suggestion. maybe a wonderful person over there will agree and find time to put it in *Grins*

Hmmm....seems as tho I remember being able to place the ladder, put a piece of floor rug on top of the ladder (by placing it on ladder it will pop onto the top), then targetting rug piece with a goza, and then placing your deco/targetting goza with item target circle, and it allowed you to raise it an ungodly amount.

Humor me if Im wrong! (meds cause short term memory loss)

You used to be able to dye wall shields, like Mapper says. I wish we could still
