Raiders in Britain - yeah sure, they all hide and stealth around or what?

Dear Gods,

could you please work the town criers news system over?

I cant think its to hard to have town criers updated like this:

IF there is a Raid, they cryout the news so we can get the forces together to fight them back.

If they BEATEN, the town criers should spread the news like that "Raider Wave has been defeated, the town is save for now, but beware, we have information new Raider waves aproaching soon.." something like that?

And if the next wave comes in, town criers change again to the Warning message and call to arms.

What the hell is going on with those raiders??? I've been running around brit every day and never seen one. Every time the message springs up I run to Brit... haven't seen anything yet. On Pacific.

I have to agree, I met my first the other day on LS, a Healer that seemed determined to teach me Anatomy, or simply kill me and take the money for it.
Being on my dexxer thought I give these paragon-speed things a couple whacks - either high resists or many HP, I decided theses aren't worth my time. There at the Yew gate, thought maybe there might be someone wanting to learn in Fel, being a coward, he teaches Tram only and stayed - What's up with that, Devs?

I ask again, were ist the problem to change Town Crier messages - i didnt say it first, this is fpr PACIFIC but i guess, its all the same on all other shards..

Do you need a content management system like is used on Public Displays?
Let me know - i got contacts to manufactures!

Sorry to say but i smell LAZINESS!

This isnt something should been looked into SOME DAY or so - this is a big issue - people losing interrest in your story arcs - and updated town criers are important for the Arc - it cant be THAT hard to code town crier messages together with the timed appearances of Raiders in any town - or is it? I dont think so...

So i will forever run around in Brit everytime i log on to see no Raiders but every damn town crier telling me i have to defend the city for them!!
They could so easly save their breath by just telling everyone getting near them "Hey, its all cool, no Raiders here currently - well, i heard rumors about hughe ships have been sighted with Raiders by some fellow fishermans sailing into Britain direction, but they were fishing high seas out there and estimated a time of arrival maybe in aproximatley 3 hours or so - but stay prepared!"

Need more Input to make this all more fun and interresting?

I WANT TO GET EXITED AT WORK KNOWING I DAMN HAVE TO SPEED UP MY WORK BECAUSE THERE WILL BE RAIDERS TO KILL IN 3 HOURS!

Hello, its me again...

Some more things on Raiders and this ongoing Arc:

Around 1 hour ago, on Pacific, the next wave of Raiders apeared in Brit.

Now, this seems to be no surprise BUT i am surprised about the timer...i play from Europe so it was realy good for me because i allready was home from work..
But for other players? Maybe overthink the spawn time lol

Another thing i noticed - the Raiders AI changed or something?
They take some time to attack my Dragon standing next to them, sometimes they even refuse to attack him, strange..maybe the got to much respect..

If you spawn Raiders next to the LBR Castle, and we all know waht all the Rioters cry out when they drop a fire bomb and so on - its the NOBLES fault! Death to all Nobles and to the Guards! Well....how comes, Raiders DONT attack Nobles, Gaurds, nothing, only Players and their critters (sometimes)? This is a hughe mistake in this fiction...i mean come on?

On the other hand, i ran into a brit Provisioner shop, parking my Dragon there and invised waiting the Raider inside (Mage) attacking it - but instead of that, he got attacked by a YELLOW NAMED Provisioner who maybe wanted to take the chance to gain some Wrestling Skill of that Raider scum or what? The Raider even SAT DOWN on a chair and helped the yellow NPC gain his Wrestling up - Holy Cow haha - NOT SURE IF SERIOUS!!

So, who is responsible for the Raiders AI and all around - what about checking this out next time rofl

Well, its time to sort through 3 bags with ~200 Artifacts i looted from my GD sparing partners, also called Raiders...

Would really love to know what's happening with this. I've yet to see a raider and I spend at least 3 hours a day in UO. *sadface*
