Unless you been hiding under the rock of the new deal system then you wouldnt have been made of aware of what is happen through out this great nation of ours. The lastest numbers show that at least 6 milllion americans are fed up with the socialist spending program that is currently in place. April 15th was the National T.E.A. party day that most news networks refused to cover. The DHS issued an order that said that any right wing group activeity was deemed a terrorist threat. So now you got Glen Beck, Shawn Hannity, Bill O'Reilly and Greta has America's most wanted. And all the american pulbic wants is accountability of the spending deemed nessecary for the greater good of america. Thank you, the socialist of Untited States of a America.

I tend to agree with Governor Perry... Texas gives more to the US than it gets back in "federal dollar" year after year...

It's time for a Republic of Texas to stand forth once again.

I just want to put a number significance on things because 6 million ISN"T signficant

6 million people protesting versus 303 million US population = 1.9%.

I'll be generous and say that a total of 8 percent don't support it. That's a minority compared to 92 percent.

Check your math.

Well, you can either do something useful and follow steps in the constitution to correct what is believed to be wrong, or you can continue to let it fester.

My analogy is this.

You have a minor leak in the roof. You don't patch it because it's minor. Meanwhle, you have dry rot forming from the leak. A few shingles get blown off, more water starts leaking, but you don't want to fix it yet because "the time's not right" or whatever excuse is given. More mold/mildew and deterioration occurs. A couple years down the road, you go to fix a problem that would have been a couple thousand dollars to fix. Now it's costing you 5 times as much.

That's what America is facing. Problems can either be fixed now, or wait, let it deteriorate and let it cost more in the end.

People can complain all they want, it's their constitutional right. But it's also your right to take actions in concordence with the constitution to fix it. Problem is too many people talk, but not many people do.

The only reason Texas pays more is because of it's size. (3 times bigger than any other state) If you go by stats Tx pays less per capita than any other state. And it has more illegals than any other state. The illegals leave and Tx folds because no one there wants the illegals jobs. Tx tried to secede before and look where they are now.

I would expect something such as this from my own state, Alabama, but not from texas.

Oh and the issue with the illegals is pretty accurate, unfortunately it isn't just in texas.

If you think that trying to solve this problem, the correct legal way, is just gonna create more problems, then you are just saying that you are happy with the status quo.

The last thing america needs is another civil war. Come on Texas, you were the cause of the first civil war, are you gonna try to do it again?

Happy to see some have their own opinion. So uncommon for repubs.

once again..my blog gives more insight into what people should be doing than what they aren't doing.

Ah little girl but they are doing what they are suppose to be doing, excercizing their right to free speech and protest of a taxation they believe is wrong. The supreme court has nothing to do with this and carry no weight in the matter. But you better believe the politicans are well aware that for every 1 of those 6 million there are at least another 20 that agree but didn't join in the protest. This time. 6 million showing up to protest is quite a strong voice, but will most likely fall on deaf democratic ears. For now.

I think the same feeling was expressed once by a german leader about the Jewish population of his country.
