Crafting/Hunting Mobs/something else?

I'd rather turn in items than gold at this point but don't have a ton of stuff saved up as I left the game for a while. What are folks finding is the quickest way to earn points short of just turning in checks? I may actually need go grind out some Medusas b/c even the crappy artifacts are worth 5k points. Thanks in advance.

I'd farm the scorpion thing that drops level 6 maps. Those are worth good points and can be done faster but better then that would be doing champ spawns looking for the legacy drops. I'm sure that others have better idea's and might share....hint hint.

I would have took advantage of the Spring cleanup patch on TC1 and tested it during the 3 weeks it was up for answers.

Run around the shard looking at the vendors (out of Luna!) that have been left abandoned in houses whose owners are out of game for whatevr reason, they will have old pricing on em. Those small red boxes with roses in a vase in em, are worth a fortune as turn ins, and could be found on vendors sometimes for as low as 500 gps.

@Enderz -- As much as I would've liked to have done this, I don't play a ton every week, so my time goes to playing on my actual characters.

Also gl on checkin old vendors for said turn in items on Atlantic. Myself & a few idocr's I know have scoured the facets on atlantic and did what Uriah suggested weeks ago.

ye, 50 pt at time you became old before to get something...

there are 3 mobs able to give you enough point:

- miasma
- pyre
- master theophilus
- rend

master theophilus is my best choice, he fall in 2-3 shot and drop 1 level 6 map every 2

pyre is another good choice, like master theophilus for drops but is in a bad place...

miasma drop is not so good and there are too many people around here luring rend every minute to solo the spawn so it's not a good place...

rend is a bit tough especially if you don't have a really good equip... but still is a good source of levl 6 maps...

If you can, I think solo Slasher is the best. Claw (1000), scythe (10,000) + chance at arty are tough to beat for 30 - 40 minutes.

I got a pleasant surprise looking at the points for old BOD rewards; all those small stretched hides are worth 250 each, and if you start dropping in Ancient and Runic hammers it spirals extremely quickly ... the Verite Hammer was worth 80k (although I kept mine). So I'm now working on completing all my IDOC collected LBODs at last!

Something to try might be the Hag's quest. The items you get can be turned in, along with a guaranteed treasure map. It's been a while since I've done the Hag's quest so I don't remember how long it takes to do.

fish up sos - put all the fished up stuff in box and take out gold - turn in that.

Well for some who have crafters and a bit of ore/ingots sitting around do bods for the gloves... ring mining gloves give 500 pts. fishing up sos's the junk you all hate to get before the chest is worth 100 pts each!! and take a gander at the dead t maps or even the odd bal t maps you really hate to do... they give nice pts. Horse shoes, wire (just dont stack it or it only counts as 1), forged metal all count for pts... they are free from the buc's smith.(just open the barrels and wait 20 min they fill. recall away and 20 min later you wash rince repeat) Books from the TerMur turn in of fragments, tatered, and untransleated tomb can go in too for points. There is tons to go grab and gather pts. Look at the lists and dont be afraid to click on the trash for the aprasial of things your not sure of. On even my smallest character populated shard i got over 500k in pts. just cleaning out the junk. If you got a thief do doom, dojo and yamatsu mine and turn in the stealables ! Dont let your past lack of time in game stop you from making this work for you.

Helpful tip, just toss the whole chest in. The chest is worth points, so are all of the items inside. You can get over 1k a chest. Seems like the most reliable source to me. And if you just bag up jewelry as you go that's some bonus points. As well as any minor artifacts you might get.

If I hadn't have ended up with way more points than I need that's what I'd be doing.

Medusa- each of her drops are worth 5k a piece. A group of like 4 people can down her in 6 minutes.

Or go to a fel old world dungeon and get the virtue armor drops.

The dark guardians in doom drop 1-3 level maps. For every player, summons, pet, npc 2 dark guardians will spawn. EVERY dark guardian drops a 1-3 level map. Any dexer can handle 6 dark guardians and that equals 300(all level 1 maps) to 1500 points(all level 3 maps) per spawn and 6x800 gold per spawn. If you are really hard core use a tamer and release some CUs in the room to spawn more and the CUs will help you kill them too.

is the worst way, just grab a pickaxe and go mine from 0 to 100 mining you gather more points than using power crystals.
When you reach 100 enable the gem mining and trash everything.
You can get 20-30k points per hour. Power crystals & co. generates up to 3-4k per hour...

lava fishing generates 30-40k points per hour

-Niporailem in kings tomb, drops a Piece of Epiphany armor every time, takes very short time to kill (Sampire, Undead Slayer, have your backpack full -125 items-, I use stackable items so everytime the boss dies i can combine 2 stacks to make room for loot) 1000 points per armor piece.
-Stygian Dragon, Bushido dexer (archer or Thrower) Dragon slayer weapon) When done right you can solo him in under 10 minutes. Stygian dragon heads are 1000 each and his arties are 5000.
Those are two easy options for a warrior. Fishing works well for the nonwarrior, Mibs and Lava fishing junk can pile up quick. Crafting can be good if you have a stockpile of resources or bods.

Champs in legacy dungeons, as mentioned, can be very profitable since some of the 10th arties are blessed or you can quickly insure them.

If you decide to go the quick route and buy rather than farm for turn-ins...
Horned leather sells for about 60 gold a piece on the Atlantic shard and goes for 1 pt per leather.
Even better copper ingots give 1 pt per ingot and can be had for 30 or 40 gold a piece

dark guardians x10 at a time loot map and bones fast fast fast 500-2500 per round use summon fey to get larger spawn i have an avarage of 10-15k every 15 min doing this also if you have a stockpile of enchanted essence turn it in for 115 power scrolls in tel mur then turn them in for 500 points so that = 10 points per essence since its 50 to one 115.
