Quick help, what should I do?

Ok, I have a 10 day regular trial. I helped out these people the other day and they sent me some gold. I can't get my mail becuase it's a trial account. I want to get a regular account anyway becuase my trial is over. But I want Burning Crusade and I was using a regular trial not burning. I installed the game with my friends CDs, which were regular game. He used his codes already, so I can't. Do I have to go to the store and buy Burning Crusade or can I just buy a code online? How long do I have before I can't get that mail anymore?

30 days I believe. not positive.

You should be able to purchase the upgrade online. However you will first need to upgrade your account to Full Account status before you will be able to buy/use BC.

Yea, i did buy BC and put that code in there and it said I can't use a BC code. So, I have to buy both BC and the regular?

Ok, I went to a site and bought a regular new account code. I'll put that in when it's emailed me and then I have to upgrade with my disk I bought at the store to BC I quess.

Man, 20 bucks for code, 20 bucks for disk, thats 40 already and I didn't even pay for one month service yet. jesh


I have regular already installed, do I need to use all the BC disks and install them too?

Yes, you will have to install the BC disks. Do not uninstall what you already have, just let the disks install BC on the current version of WoW. Then prepare for patch-o-rama.

Yup. WoW is not like UO. YOu hae to have the original client to install the new expansion. So you will drop money for both of them.

Personally, unless you wanted the draeni right away, I would have waited for BC.

What server you on?

Well, if you don't have the original World of Warcraft then you will need to buy both that ($9.99 I think) and the expansion Burning Crusade (probably $40 I think). The expansion REQUIRES the original so you must buy both.

You don't get an additional 30 days when you upgrade.....at least no one I know has =(
