Hi there, I've been learning the reforging ropes and trying to better understand which "overcapped" properties are possible depending on the runic. I've read a lot of conflicting info and trying to cut through fact vs. folklore.
In the original post I saw that to get 100% HML you should use copper. Does anyone have any reference for why copper and not something lower, like shadow?
The Runic Bonuses table on UO official website suggest max intensity is possible. I did a quick test of 80 reforges of Shadow/Powerful/Vampiric on a bladed staff. Many, many results that came back at max imbue (ex. 75% HML, 50% HSL), but nothing over it.
The only way to consistently exceed max imbue was using Structural. It suggests that Shadow/Powerful intensity is capped at max imbue.
Awesome thread by the way, I'm learning a lot.
