Questionable Rare?......Need Info

Greetings everyone,

I was looking around luna today on Atlantic and ventured upon a vendor that sent off flares in my head. For those who don't know me... I'm obsessed with the void color red and black. In fact, when Mesanna first came to Atlantic to decide on what color the Mesanna Roulette lantern should be, I kept yelling "RED AND BLACK!!"...
weather she took my idea for what is now the Mesanna atl lantern or not, it really doesn't matter. I just tossed that memory up as an example.

Anyways, when I saw this vendor in luna, I became amazed and curious at the same time. Here is a pic:

Here are my questions:

1) How in the world did someone dye a newly obtainable artifact the abyssal color?
2) There is no such dye in existence so how did it get dyed by a players hand?
3) Where can I get one?!?!?!

I am mind-boggled by this so I'm open to any suggestions.

I don't think so, of course I could be wrong too. I haven't got the amount of arties needed yet to receive my shroud yet but I do see a lot of people wearing them and the color looks to be the same as the Conjurers garb.

That particular robe is the "Shroud of the Condemned" the original color of that robe is Abyssal.

yep thats the color of the shroud of the condemned robe, and the new blackthorn version which is 25 minax artifacts, one of which comes in the hooded shroud. also available in a dress and some other things i think. the obi looks to be made of abyssal cloth
