Well poisonarms it is according to how long you have been away. The game has not changed much in my opinion with the minor exception that moods have worsened, as you have already found out in this short period. I try to play often but unlike years ago, when I had my own group, I now play alone. I still enjoy this game. Even solo it is somewhat of a challendge still to kill paragon greater dragons, Balrons and ancients with out dying. I still enjoy most of the aspects of the game. On the rare occasion that a young player pops up I try to help. Welcome back and I do hope you many hours of enjoyment.

Depends on the shard and the guild. If you see one particular guild bank sitting, they maybe are a pvp guild with murder count burning blues. Or person is in the bank sitting to read Stratics (like me!).
There's many possibilities.
Go to hunting hot spots. Like the painted caves, Miasma, Artic Orge Lord, the Blighted Grove, etc. There are people playing, trust me.

on a side note - is anyone else pissed off that EA has morphed the uo.com page to look like the camelot herald?

The only things that peeve me off...... they don't update the web page that shows up when you log in..... ...... They are WAY out of date on many things but then so is stratics... They hardly ever have any useful input..... and it takes forever to hear any news from them......
