Question RE: Focus vs. Med

Hi,

I am currently working on a mage/spellweaving combo and I am unclear on how I should split up my meditation and focus.

Basically, I have enough points to have either

100 focus (120 w/crystalline ring)
100 med.

But if I lower focus to 80 I can get
80 focus (100 w/crystalline ring)
120 med

I looked at the info on stratics, which seemed to suggest that doing it the second way would result in slightly faster MR. But I don't know whether there is any bonus I am losing from lowering focus real skill points below gm.

Can anyone help with this?

After the PvP publish focus is slightly slower on the mana regen compared to Med, but the main contributer to this is the Mana regen bonus on items with 100 skill points. Med of course gives slightly higher mana regen do to the INT bonus in medable armor.

100 med, 100 focus will give you the most bang for the buck. More mana regen off items, plus a healthy stamina regen.

Overall focus is better than it used to be before the pvp publish.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll just keep it at 100/100 for now, and with my ring that will put my focus to 120.
