Question on Boats and No-Gate Areas

With Siege there are a lot of areas that are not available via Gating, such as the Lost Lands, aka T2A. I was wondering what would happen if I was playing in an area that is only accessable by boat in one of these areas and get killed. I can do a help request because I'm physically stuck if there is no npc healer around, but once in town I'd have no way of getting back to my boat since I can't gate to it. Any comments on this situation?

Hmm, good point. I think I'll slip a spare row boat in the bank. Best I can think atm is, if you die at sea in T2A you'd have to row out to your boat from the nearest land.

Either use a rowboat or call for help in chat. That's what i would do. Can't you use the ropes on the new boat when dead to sail the boat to a town and get a res there? The old style boats should be kept unlocked (plank open) and the key stored in the bank. Park the boat at a spot where you can walk onto the plank without double clicking it.

Don't help stuck if you die in an area like that, you can pilot the ship as a ghost. sail to the serpent pillars, iirc they work while dead, that or just sail to the shores near fire and run to the healers in papua. t2a really isn''t that big.
