Question for Shards that have lost cities to the Bane Chosen

A question for those Shards which have lost cities to the Bane Chosen.

The Bane Chosen's raids/invasions appear to have stopped, and their camp at Spirituality is gone. Blackrock Golems remain in Magincia, however, and there's serious indications this is just the calm before the storm.

However, on shards where you've lost cities.....Have the cities remained occupied? Or have Virtuebane's armies appeared to withdraw everywhere?

We had lost Minoc and Vesper on Drachs but they all free now.

on LS, we lost Cove, now empty, but now has a corrupted bell on a pedestal.

Skara & Glow we won, which both Had a bell, now don't
must of been something fixed by the 'localization' patch

Did we not lose vesper on LS also I remember seeing the town crier saying this! but i went there other day even bell was gone ?

Seems Pac has no VB Guards, and the bell that was in Skara Brae is gone too.

My guess is: Game mechanics-wise, they are setting us up for the climax and aftermath; RP-wise, Virtuebane's ambitions are ultimately deeper than controlling and conquering cities. Conquest was merely a step along the way. As his ambitions come closer to fulfillment, ruling conquered territory simply lost its allure. Those who sided with him are, I should imagine, about to be betrayed rather badly.

After all, Honesty and Honor are Virtues, and Virtuebane's ideology is pretty much stated in his very name.

Even if the lost cities stayed under the banes control. The only players punnished are those that tried to fight off the invasion. There is no real point for them to keep a town if they don't attack everyone. Those that killed goody 2 shoes get free pass.
