was curious, especially with all the changes that have been made.
What is the current best and most up-to-date info on your per-cent chance to transfer damage to your image?
Is it different for pvp as compared to pvm?
Does an opponenets mods, like hit chance increase, affect this chance to transfer damage in any way?
Thanks

As far as I can tell none of the changes have changed mirror image. The chance to deflect an attack to an image is based on your ninjitsu skill. At 120 ninjitsu you deflect about 90% of attacks.
- Only physical attacks are deflected (melee=yes; bows= yes; spells= no)
- The chance to deflect is NOT effected by the number of images you have. (1 works as good as 5)
- The chance seems to be the same in PvP and PvM
- The chance is not effected by HCI, DCI, etc (Of course you only have to deflect attacks that hit and HCI, DCI effect the chance to hit you in the first place...)

The upshot is that its VERY HARD to hit a 120 ninja with a mirror image around. Of course the trade off is that you cant use them while you are mounted and area attacks make all the images go *poof*

many thanks.
I was very interested in comparing mirror image to parry, and this does that very well.

Glad to help.

A few extra tidbits for comparing mirror images to parry.

- Mirror images have a MUCH higher chance to stop an attack than parry
- Casting mirror images can't be disrupted
- They can be cast on the run
- They benefit from up to 4FC/6FCR
- You keep swinging while you cast them

However
- Mirror images take 10 mana each (6 with 40% LMC)
- Mirror images can't be used while mounted

For real crazy fun you could always put parry and ninjitsu (mirror images) on the same template. Add 45% DCI and a 40%+ hit lower attack weapon for real fun.... [It makes for a pretty cramped template]
