When I am holding a fishing pole what skill gets checked to see if someone can hit me?

Parry raises when holding a fishing pole but no matter how high the parry is i still get hit every time by everything.

Is it wrestling?

I would assume it is wrestling as well, same as spell books.

I would suggest when someone is swinging a deadly weapon at you not to be holding a fishing pole.
