PVP TOURNEMENT!!!

Ok, this tourny will be spread out over time untill complete, approximatly a month or so, but it will give all particiapants a chance to compete... Rules
All Templates are welcome and skills except Hiding/stealth



20 of each pot max
No fields
No summons
No Pets
No changing templates
No Looting
Single Elimination

I am tournement director and will not be able to compete, so templates must be sumitted to me, I will not reveal stats or numbers, but the template used is what you will compete with, as you enter please put what numerical order you entered in ie...

If Speedy posts on boards hes entering, hes number one, if tibs post second, hes number 2 and so forth, as all 16 contestants have entered, your numercal number will be drawn from random and put into the bracket by chance against whoever, so it will be fair...

I will need one other person to help me with said event, once a pair of contestants have fought, we will arrange time for next pair to fight which will be convienant for there sceduals, as a fight is completed, the results will be posted on boards for everyone to see,

The reason for anything basically, is because we have some folks who would like to use the Alcamay skill, so Conflags are a must, as well as explotions, mages will be able to disarm as well as dexers, fights will be fast and hard, so build your template right, you will need some different forms of healing to survive probably, but build whatever suits your desire if you think it will win...go for it and have fun,

any sponsers for the event who wish to put in money for the winner is welcome, it would be great if the winner took at least five million for there troubles, you do not have to post what template your running on the boards, only to myself, thats for your advesarys to figure out when they stand toe to toe with you in the pit, the dueling area will be a 9X9 size and faction arties are allowed, if your not in factions and still want to participate, theres plenty of time to join factions, grab a suit to compete and then leave, the fight will be at a dueling area I have built and will be announced, the only people allowed in the house will be the "Ref" and the two duelers/fighters,



Mages can disarm as well as dexers, if a mage picks wrestling, he will be giving up a skill much needed to fight another mage that has went for a mage killing template, but will be lacking the skills to fight a dexer and so forth, so in essance, its all fair, if a mage wins, so be it, if a dexer wins, so be it, hopefully this turns out fun and we can do it again, because i would like to join the next one please....lol





Official sign up will start this Saturday February 20th and tournement will commence hopfully by March 1st or untill all 16 slots are filled, as soon as 16 people have signed up, I will draw the peas asap, and everyone will know who they are fighting, but your template must be given to me before you enter tourny, I need another director to help, and that person will know the templates also, so theres a nice and fair balance, preferably someone from like TnT or JsV or other guild thank you

If we dont get 16 people to fight, we will scratch this one also, but this tourny will be spread out so people can fight do to work and rl issues, let me know any input or advice and see how it rolls

When you say no hide/stealth I assume that a person may choose to have to on but just not use hiding in the fight. If one choose to .

Let a noob in the ring with audience participation for heals/cures ect. Put them up against a vet with a crap weap or no weap at all/ one piece of arcane for mages, or noob vs noob.
Add in a few crafters or even pet fights if there is a demand.
Awards will be 10K to 50K depending on the entertainment value.

Why is it a pvp tournement put on by siege players with our kind of rule set gets peoples attention and interest but the possibility of an EM sponsored tournement got no intrest...

please note the sarcasm...

EM in the future please note the rule set none of the open looting crap for victors... there is still some honor on Siege... If you plan an event make it worthy of the players...

as a former player i'd log in to watch this but as a stealth tamer bard I don't think they would let me take a spot on the floor lol.....

this is easier for me becuase there is no set times. I am pretty busy during the day, between the little one, wife and 24 hour a day job. Setting something up on my time is alot easier than meeting on a friday or sat. during happy hour and on a holiday.

Reason is simple, if were watching you cast little chiv spells and such and we didnt know you had some chiv, we would think you would have cheated and changed your template for the particular oponenent...its purely for eveyones protection,,,thanks and lets have some fun

Correct, it gives poisners a chance to use that skill as a viable way to kill, so people will have to consider that...Ie..chiv or healing as an alternant source plus magery of course...I didnt think poisoners should be left out

Personally i think they should have to load it during the fight, unless we are allowing mages to precast before the wall drops.

It honestly want really matter if the weapon is poisoned before the fight. It takes like half a second to apply it with a uoa macro.

If the limit on the potions is gonna drop so are some of the possible templates you can run, some templates rely quite abit on having a pretty amount of pots and 30 could there be cutting it abit short. What about apples??

Limiting the amount of regs would be like saying a dexxor is only allowed to swing his weapon X amount of times then he has to disarm.
If you run out of regs or arrows or for any other reason would have to forfeit, of course you would lose.

I feel I have already handicaped Mages enough with the no fields rule, im taking one of there spells away....

Dude, I can say needing regs is weakness of your template, not the point.

I guess im the only one who feels that having unlimited regs is a huge advantage for mages.
