No less than 5 minutes ago it came to my attention that PVM has quit factions. Where will these weary warriors go! TB? maybe to try and ally CHAD?? Maybe ally SI? we will see. Perhaps! maybe COM! so that they can try and get back with WU? but who knows! Maybe its so they can try and do more spawns during the early hours of the morning and not get put into stat! That is my personal thought! Good bye PVM! Your time on the top was short but sweet! Just like the day me and jeff rolled in and there was 7 of you at tortoise, we only got 5 of you the others ran away! Good luck to you in the future!

Maybe they are leaving the shard? or packing up to sell their accounts.. I mean after Taslin quit, his band of merry followers deadly and.... someone others quit but I can't remember... most not be important. This would not surprise me a bite. The last time GSE was on Baja that guild bailed with their tails tucked between their legs. I guess we will have to wait and see. It would sure suck if all we had left in fel is SI and their stealther buddy's.

Yea I think thats all we will be left with. Because when you think about people get discouraged quick when they lose in pvp. You know? Its frustrating getting constantly beat down, and no matter what char you make you lose. Unlike trammies they can solo pretty much everything because they lose a bunch to say.. a stygian dragon. then they make a new character with their buddies and WHAMMO! Problem solved. But yes I feel we will be left with nothing but si.

Are we actually going to be allowed to talk smack here? Or are we just going to get our wrists slapped when we attempt to "talk smack" for thta matter Can you please post examples of smack talk? I let this forum go a LOT more then the rest of the forum. Just keep the personal references to a minimum is all I really ask. For the most part the other thread was fine. But I try not to let it get too long. Gets confusing. And due to being sick I hit the wrong key, my apologies. Thank you for posting the rules. I took the time to read, reread, and completely memorize them down to every last small and insignificant detail.
There is officially no one to fight on baja. SI hides. PVM logs. CT... lol... one guy in com.. I think the GSE won again.
Considering your sole motivation to log in to UO is to PvP, yes this must be rough for your group. SI isn’t a PvP guild, but there are many of us who enjoy the PvP aspect. SI does not exist to dominate the PvP arena although we often do. It is not SI’s mission statement to be the best at PvP although we are able to fend off raids. We are willing and able to compete. Sometimes we lose, sometimes we win… but in that process… we always entertain. I refer back to what Cypher posted, if SI wasn’t around, many PK/PvP guilds would be bored.
Many of us in SI thoroughly enjoy PvP. For me it is the most enjoyable aspect of the game. So often many of us are disappointed when we pop a Harry and nobody raids.
SI is a combination of a Trammie guild, a Spawning guild, and a PvP guild. Our members explore and participate in nearly all aspects of UO. So you won’t see us constantly running around Fel looking for fights or spawning 24/7.
Many of us in SI thoroughly enjoy PvP. For me it is the most enjoyable aspect of the game. So often many of us are disappointed when we pop a Harry and nobody raids.

Is it official that PvM quit? Rumor has it that Team Taslin plays call of duty or something like that since they carry the H20 tag in that game. So who is going to swoop in the lost souls of PvM that still plays into their side of the battle?

This is the reason good pvp only lasts about 2 months on baja. There's a bunch of players that change guilds every time they lose a few battles. Why don't you guys divide up or something? Or boot the freakin' benedict arnolds out of your guild. Just wondering.
We don't guild any PVM. and we won't be adding any of them. The only one we took was New York and he played with me and jeff before PVM existed. He switched when I was gone this summer at combat training and jeff just didnt play.
Zosimos. Team taslin is now being run by athena. And I guess it was her call to pull them all out of factions. And our theory is that they want to be on all blues so that they can spawn more freely. I mean they have GSE to put them in stat everyfight, and it makes finishing spawns very hard. Plus if they stay on all blues they can work with SI much easier because no SI will flag a blue. and no pvm will flag.. anyone.
Airhaun: If you want to call the 41 vs 13/14 pvp event a victory go ahead. Granted the numbers you field have been clearly posted. and a few of us werent even at the pvp event until the last few minutes I got there right as the last master assassin guy died. So what is that.. 3 to 1 odds? congrats on "often winning" in pvp with three times our numbers.. granted you all did complain so much to EM SEPPO about many times you all died, that he just logged off and cancelled the event for the next day... just saying... And no one raids your harrowers because you don't pop them with like 8 people like i do, you pop them with numbers into the 20's... Consider popping with less.... Just a hint.

I wasn't addressing the EM Event, I wanted to define SI as a guild for those who may not know. Some often mistake us and/or treat us as a full fledged PvP guild; which we're not. And yes, we have numbers. I don't think that is something to be ashamed of. In fact I think it reflects positively. The question is: Why and how has SI remained a strong and healthy guild for so long which enables us to field numbers?

Seems to me I am being non-confrontational, somewhat objective, and making some very obvious points.

We've enjoyed the alliance with SI because we can participate in fel based activities and not be ganked and driven out of fel by those who only enjoy disrupting other peoples fun. We can do a spawn, defend ourselves and keep any raiders from taking over. Sometimes we win, sometimes we loose. Which is a much better scenario for those playing the game than being hopelessly overwhelmed by a single scripting hacker.
One would think the numbers sported by SI at a spawn would be celebrated for what it is.. trammie loving, bank sitting, guard zone hugging, noobs playing in fel, which I believe in some circles is consider a good thing!

I think what SK wasnt being disrespectful but basically saying you opened a flood gate of criticisms. We all can agree to disagree from ones opinion. As some of us know Cypher as the GM of SI, and ALLIANCE leader cant control his allies let alone some of his own guild members. I know this very well and have proof of it. Now its not all his fault but if he actually took more of a role in his alliance with COMMUNCATION and his own guild then maybe what you say Airhaun could be less argumentative. The argument can be said you have many officers that deal with stuff but Cypher as GM he should be more up to date of any situation not half ass information. I think I heard a remark from you, Airhaun, saying it was allot of miscommunciation with some issues but never taking any responsabilty for SI behalf. What a few does in a guild/alliance reflects as a whole on everbody tied into that guild/alliance. That statement can go either way but I know from first hand experience SI chooses what situation they want that statement to play its direction and benefits them.
Look at it this way. When anybody includes any pvp argument concerning SI, if any allies are mentioned its stated as SI allies or w/e. Not C@S or so and so. The other guilds in you're alliance doesnt get any credit really even though I do see many of them out and about in fel particpating. They are losing their identity when SI gets the spot light of the show. SI is good for the community but I think your message, purpose of why you are a guild, is getting distorted and twisted in to something you may not want it to be. You have so many allies anyway may as well have them all just dump their guild and join the mother guild and main faction guild. Then we know who we are truly dealing with not just SI and unknowns (allies). That would make some of Cypher job much easier for him and his dream come true

The reason SI is still strong and running after all this time is most of the core of SI is still active which includes Cypher and peps can say what they want about him in other guilds but he brings so much to SI and the alliance and makes us a better and more active guild. We also have found new players over the past so many years that have made us a better community and people like Air and Ayassa.

But did you really have to go there? I haven't asked to be in SI...but I have been approached by SI to join. Both sides were mostly kidding anyways. And I don't remember us ever courting anyone from SI to join us; most of them were kicked out by SI or asked to join us while still in SI.
