PvP thread Chapter 14

If anyone has suggestions..

I'm after a few pvp hotspots on Oceania, places that reds frequent I can mark runes to at least.

Basically I'm building a rune collection of locations for working Virtues, eg: the orc prison & town runes for raising Compassion, redeemable monster locations for Sacrifice, good places for raising Honor and so on. I have a few runes for Justice (BMG fel, a few spawns) but nothing comprehensive as I'm a bit out of the loop.

I can mark my own runes, just after a list of locales that people can warp to if they're after a bit of action. I realise these locations may change over time but I'll try & keep things up to date. Any advice people could toss me would be appreciated, including telling me if it's a dumb idea.

serps hold docks (fire entrance), red healers near trinsic/moonglow gates, all the entrances to t2a - delucia passage, minoc etc.
these are some places you may see reds.

It's no secret that ToC has and continue to use dismounters but you guys use them just as much these days.

Re: pvp locales, thanks everyone.

Quite a few I'd overlooked, even one I threw out - fire dungeon, had that sorted under fame/sacrifice for the evil mage lords, but since the spawn slowed down I haven't bothered with it.

Well, no (unless you have ninja, which many dismounters do), but why you would want to guard whack someone rather than kill them yourself is beyond me, sounds like something ASH would do... speaking of which...

Yeh, I dont think anyone from either side thinks much of ASH, he is far more cowardly than anyone in the ToC alliance, or the OMG alliance, I think on that we can all agree.

Oh don't get me started on ash... Never EVER flags on someone unless they are being attacked/ganked and under half health. Then he'll drop a quick expl fs on you for the "kill" OR he'll fight, run to gz, fight, run to gz and so on until he gets you guard whacked then claims a victory. Runs almost as quick on foot as the rest of us do on mount (yes I am calling foul here) He even runs or recalls in a 1 on 1 !!

Last nights pvp was great!

4 mages and 3 archers all ToC/MDK Vs Me on my 74 wrestle char on 92% LRC and Held on Hitman, Bigsexy dropped in for about 10 mins to help but died pretty quick due to his american connection and logged.

I can't believe i got a total of 11 insurance and died twice (excluding the time i managed to hit Alt f4 when trying to call pet from your blasted dismounts)

Well done, I understand that Tenaka rarely PvP's and clog is laggy but good try!

Not wrong. my lag is unbearable. its not my isp cause on my borthers comp its working like a dream, but as soon as i log onto my cmp and i am around graphic intense(is that possible in uo?) areas i lag up. a good example of this was when i was being a pain in the ass for omg at despise(wasnt do very good at it though) all i see was a spell cast on me, stonway dismount me and then i froze only to come to 5 minutes later

Well you guys did a Harry apparently, unfortunately only Held (or maybe it was Dain) was on from us Kinda like the Harry we did like a week ago and only ASH showed up... bet you can imagine what he did lol, the name of his (1 man) guild really suits him

Not that hard when your playing a blue and running in and out of a house (which is also on the endge of guard zone) and picking people off. One of your kills was against me when i ran out of garlic... well done though!

Yeah would be nice if we could both get peeps online at the same time to get some good field fights going. Seems as though either you guys have heaps on or we do. Like this morning for example. I saw true blue, arwen and gobble at bmg so I put the call out to see if any ToC/MDK were on to come fight. No answer.Sso after a dismount gank we had some duels which was fun but gets boring after a while...

Factions arnt supposed to exist anywhere but Fel, so therefore you shouldnt have the problem of xhealing that we do.

What I meant to say Shane is that I think most people are scared to reply to his posts for fear of him cutting them down with his comments. As wrong as it is (and as futile considering it's a forum) I cannot help myself but to respond otherwise he feels as though he has it over everyone. His views are so misguided, your right, it is quite scary. I guess with people like that I prefer to confront them than let them think they have a free reign, and cut him down a peg or two in the process.

Just a quick note to say thanks for the precious few seconds I got to watch you guys handling the champ spawn in Despise late last night.

I know why Cerberus killed me the first time. Im sure it had to do with protecting the fresh corpse full of loot. I dont know if it had anything to do with the fact I had E-bolt macrod to my A key, but Im sorry if it did. I didnt give Cerb a count. *shrug*

I dont understand though why Cerberus felt the need to kill me a second time during a conversation where I was stating how impressed I was watching. Again I didnt lay a count, instead this time choosing to simply leave.

To clarify, this isnt a whinge, or a complaint, or whatever. Apart from the couple deaths I got, it wasnt even PvP related. More of a thank you, and thats honest. The Rat Spawn (despise) can be soloed easily enough, it is the easiest Spawn after all, the others, even Dragon (the 2nd easiest) is quite a bit harder.

You will get a fight most nights from round 7pm-2am. How many PvPers? Dunno, most of ToC/MDK are active, and about 2/3 of OMG/PKU/OPK is 'active' and there are a few other PvPers not in those guilds who get round also.

Oh, and if your looking for EXTRA PvP, JOIN A FACTION.

Stumpy the only issue I have is that circumventing the forum rules by creating a new profile once the old one is banned is grounds for banning them.

So as soon as they appear on the forum they should be banned and therefore this problem of people taking the bait or trying to bait them will go away.

Its not like its hard to see who their new aliases are and therefore easy to ban.

Na ash doesn't worry me. He cheats and he is still crap lol. If you live he runs off and hides until he is unflagged again. He will NEVER flag on someone in a 1v1 situation we all know that and when he loses even 1/4 of health he skips off screen knowing full well no one can catch him. Last night I found him following the fighting around looting corpses of their regs and pots ROFL. This shows what type of player he is. I found the best thing to do is just pretend he isn't there. After trying numerous times to kill him even the rons gave up on targetting him.

We use to complain about TC being lame and crap. Well im sorry OMG/TOC and 10x worse than TCs mains at fighting and even more cowardly, heavily relying on dismount to achieve anything.
