I don't necessarily know about the culture of those two guilds, but a lot of PVP guilds are pretty rough and tumble, full of trolls and immature folks. Always lots of drama, but that's just my opinion.
Recruiting for HOT is closed, always can put in an application on the boards if you wanna join when it opens.
