it has magery mastery, this helps the pet casting more spells, teleport to the enemy more often and fizzle ur enemy.
the down side at the moment is death ray which is not functioning as intended:
Death ray: snares the mage to their location and does damage based on magery skill, evaluating intelligence skill, and mastery level as long as the mage has mana and the target is in range.
there are rumours that this will be fixed in future publishes.
