One easy way would be to just get Myst and focus. You will be able to kill anything you need to with the Rising Colossus.
Two skills both fairly easy to train especially with some alacrities.

Or you could use Myst/Imbuing instead of Myst/Focus since you are training Imbuing anyway. Also if you put up a mailbox you will probably get a lot of donations of loot to unravel for gains.

hmmm yeah and use meditation instead of focus... well ive looked and I have alacrities for all the skills mentioned... I was working provocation and musicianship and I have alacrities for those skills too... but mysticism may be the better route for now...

Focus is not really needed, just make a suit with LRC, LMC, MR and MI and you should gain mana fast enough for your next Rising Colossus and don't need regens.

There is a manaregen-calculator on knuckleheads.dk.

With imbuing you wont get a level of MR that outruns Meditation. MR 1 is nothing and MR 2 is very expensive. I would search for looted artifacts with MR 4 on each piece. :)

Low mana cost help too, that's not expensive and knuckleheads.dk do not include that on their calculator.
So the question is, how mana do you need and how fast do you need to regain it.

Freja do have zero Focus or Medi but do use mana for PvP. I dropped Focus when LMC became cheap (Relic become cheap and easy to get)

Well, its an MR-Calcluator. And as LMC does not affect MR, ist not Fitting here. When it comes to LMC, there is no discussion, if you ask me. ALWAYS Max! It is so easy (even on Siege) to get LMC max, I would not even think about it. Point is: Get LMC max, add looted artifact pieces with MR 4 and take care to get as much as MI on the suit. You can even live with 65 instead of 70 resistances. If you can get SDI up, it would be worth to run around with less resistance.

Well, since Focus is to Myst what Eval is to Magery I figured he would need it.
But Gunth is right, since he´s gonna train Imbuing anyway (which also boosts the Myst spells) he doesn´t need the focus.

Yes Imbuing is a must for a PvM crafter, as he will need it to unraw too
