Upgrades are on UOGamecodes and I already upgraded 2 accounts for the 20% storage. Both Keeps will be at 60%, that is more than a Castle without any upgrade. Now if I could only find a castle or 2.
I won't be buying it because I don't play the game and haven't for a long time, I cannot wait for the day they take the game off life support and give it the death it has needed for a long time.
That being said, they will release buggy as ever, and a large majority of the population will buy it, because that's what the uo crowd does, they know it's going to be flawed, they know the flaws will likely never be fixed, but anything to keep uo going right? meanwhile it will continue to be a bad clone of games doing things much better than it has the capability of doing.
At the end of the day EA doesn't care one way or the other if this game keeps going, it's likely a nice little stream of revenue that hasn't exceeded it's upkeep costs but if one of their expansions goes down I imagine they will just kill it, so be careful those of you who vote with your wallet, should you be larger in number then I think.

I'm not sure what you are saying here. If you are saying that UO won't survive that long, you are dead wrong. People have been saying UO was going to shut down within months since just about day one - they've always been wrong. UO will shut down some day, I just don't think that day is going to be any time soon...Then take bets if UO will manage it to a second or even third booster.

Then stop posting. Go find a forum about knitting or something, and tell them how you don't actually knit but they can go @#$% themselves anyway.
I don't post often I mostly check back once and a while to see if there have been any new developments on the classic shard, although I suppose we will know one way or another at the end of the year.
I do occasionally enjoy coming back and seeing how bad this game fails, and I do have something of a morbid curiosity to see what idiotic nonsense they will add next to further muddle the game.
My money is on trolls, fairies, orcs, and panda bears as the next playable races. I guess what I am really trying to say though is I'll post here as often as I like and if you have an issue with it don't read what I have to say it's that simple.
You guys can't win anymore when it comes to this game, if you buy the crap expansions or boosters or whatever they are called now, then you will continually send the message that it's okay to put out buggy crap, on the other hand if you don't and the new content tanks there will be less incentive to keep the game going.

My accounts have been closed for years, but I'm not going anywhere, I was here when the game started and I will be here when it ends, pending unforseen disasters of course.

The point of a beta is testing, bugs were found and reported and probably taken care of. No one will know for sure till tuesday when its live.
Im not sayin we have the right to doubt the devs, cuz given the track record of UO promises and let downs we about have to expect it. Im just sayin wait till we see what the players that buy it right away say. Having played for as long as I have, I've been through alot of expansions and I dont think i've ever been as excited about one as this. il be buying it as soon as i get home from work on tuesday.

Not true. KR, the EC client and SA were not released by a team in the 'far past' these all all within the last three years. All were released before they should have been. ALL of them still have issues that have not been properly addressed.
and all those were released by devs that arent here anymore. cept SA and SA wasnt rushed, seeing how it was released later than they expected. thats why the story arc for it dragged on before SA came out. there was maybe a handful of bugs left in SA when released.
All that needs said is the chronic complainers need to calm down and quit crying about every new thing/change in the game. The ones that never have anything good to say about UO need to realize that its a GAME for ENJOYMENT so enjoy it or quit. Im not saying you cant complain about things, but if its all you do then its time you quit the game and stop annoying the rest of us.
Oh and KR and EC are still considered open beta clients so again WAIT FOR IT TO BE FINISHED BEFORE B*TCHING

Wait... you want people not to complain because something has been in beta for over a year with little attention brought to giving it the need it deserves? Uh, ok. Right there it just shows you have no clue what you are talking about, as you have just cemented something that people are saying is what is exactly wrong with the way the developers are not working on things they really need to.

Those who think booster is full of useless content : Your not the only player in the game so wait your turn for content you want. its not a huge expansion, its a booster so in 3 months when next one comes out it will most likely have something you want.
Your all allowed to have complaints but unfounded ones are pointless. Call me a fanboi or whatever but Ill say this. Ive played for over 12 years, Ive had my complaints and Ive had my frustrations with the game, but I didnt let it ruin the game for me. The complainers act like every action made by the game rulers should be perfect before added to the game. The High Seas TEST (not beta) had bugs, they have supposedly been addressed and should be fixed by tuesday. Tuesday may come and its still buggy as all getout and if that happens then youll all have perfect rights to complain and call it rushed. And if tuesday comes and its smooth and all good, you all should apologize to the devs for being so quick to jump to conclusions.

wheres the logical arguement? this thread is just the OP's complaint of a lack of content for him, shrouded by a poll. Ive put it out there logically that Your ignorant if you think its rushed before its released. Personally I dont care about all the haters of uo themselves, Im just sick of seeing the witless minority getting what they want because they cry the loudest. This is by far the lamest thing I have ever heard. If you think playing UO is anything like getting kicked in the groin then you have never been kicked there or you are really into pain and love to be abused. Sorry to burst your bubble, but what the team releases is rarely finished or properly tested.
Those of us who participated in the Beta test (Yes, it WAS A BETA TEST. It was announced as such!) of the booster ACTUALLY KNOW whether or not its 'finished' because, ya know, we've actually played it.
Now, the Team never bothered to test their last round of fixes - AT ALL. Do you feel comfortable with that? And if you do, how crazy are you?
Just think of the things that have been released BROKEN from the start. Things TC testers TOLD THEM WERE BROKEN and yet they patched them in anyway.
Their track record sucks on getting things completed before they are drop-kicked into our laps. (Think: Nujel'm seed box, T-maps, etc.)

We don't expect perfection, but we DO expect a reasonable level of competence, professionalism and sound judgement that the current Team seems woefully incapable of providing.

From the last version the testers played to the 8th October the team had squashed 140 bugs. I'm sure the total is a little higher now.
Can we at least wait until it's live before embarking on the usual troll fest of undeserved rudeness and insults?
