Hope there's brail.What if he's blind?
This ^If we go with Native American themes, then we'll have to go with Gauls, Huns, Roman, Greek, Sumarian, Mayan, Aztec, Celtic, etc....
Need I say more?
NO, let us have Greek Fire.If pirates were introduced in true form, this would mean the addition of single-shot pistols and muskets....which means gunpowder.....umm no please. I would rather stare at neon-covered bank-sitters all day.Pirates first! Indigenous people later!
Yes this. We can explore the heritage that already is UO further. Who knows what might turn up in a tribal shamans tools of the trade. Before this goes too far off the rails ...
Being of African descent and part Algonquin (no my hair does not flow) ... I think we really have to consider what Ultima and Ultima Online are actually about.
Unfortunately canon does not contribute to the idea ... however that does not mean that even if it's not overtly done, that there are not way we can incorporate some of the aesthetic aspects of the culture.
That's big words for ... "There might be cool stuff we could do ... but I doubt it will be anything major ..."
We have other stuff to do first

This is an interesting thread. There maybe a in game solution. Savages and ORCs can be updated with a few things as far as armor, clothing, crafted items. NPC quests to learn to make these items etc. This shouldn't stretch the UO story line much if at all. But let me remind everyone there were more than just Native Americans as far as a tribal culture.
I role play apples as tomatos. i mean if people can take cotton and make it into hot tub froth, apples as tomatos is not to far a stretch.I'm Italian. Any chance of getting some hanging provolone and Prosuitto I can hang in my Kitchen???
We need edible easy to grow and eat, tomatoes first.![]()
I mean for 12 yrs. we can make or buy UO pizzas, but where are the tomatoes to make the pizza sauces with ?
The heck with all these non edible plants and watermellons & peaches, give us some tomato vines, to grow, to eat, to cook up, in our homes.![]()
I'm don't really like the Native American themed items idea... I guess deco would be okay but that's about it.
I don't want UO to turn into a culture war where everyone starts asking items from their ancestry. We get enough of this in real life, this is a game. Keep the two seperate. Yes, there was a Japanese expansion. Big whoop. So the game went European(Though seems highly French-English)-Japanese with fantasy. That doesn't mean we need Native-Americans, Celtic-Highlanders, Chinese Warlords, and Spartans.
If Native American undertones are added, and are significant, then we're going to see this for everyone. I just don't think this belongs in UO. I'm not saying representing everyone's ethnicity is wrong, I'm just saying that I don't think this belongs in a video game.
ThanksBefore this goes too far off the rails ...
