Russian Ultima Online players making protest to Electronic Arts company. In new Stygian Abyss client developers forgot fix important issue with cyrillic input from keyboard. For this reason, the Russian-speaking players (and all slavs) can't normally communicate with among themselves (not all our players well know english). We strongly ask to fix this issue!

The Russian players, games Ultima Online. Make company Electronic Arts protest. The matter is that in new client Stygian Abyss, developers have forgotten to enter Russian support. But not all Russian players in perfection know English also it very strongly influences dialogue in game. We persistently ask to enter in new the client, possibility to write in Russian as it is made in 2d the client!

I suggest you play one of those great Russian MMORG's like...um...uh. Nevermind.

Well,that comment was not at all helpful.

To the OP: The EC still is beta (very much so), and we're all waiting desperately for some fixes. However, nobody knows what EA plans with the Enhanced Client. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I think you meant, Enhanced Client... there is no 3D client. And even with all the bugs, the EC is still better than the outdated 2D graphics.

To be fair, most of the European languages are not supported.

Ofc russia is a big market by population, but how big market it is when it comes to people who actually could play this? Meaning having access to decent connection, having a decent computer and having the extra money to pay monthly fee. Yes I know there's a lot of Very Rich people in Russia (I live in Finland, we see lots of them here). But the main population hasnt gotten their share of that oilmoney that well...

Not supporting cyrillic gives Russian kids a great chance to improve their English while they play UO. Learning and fiun at the same time, a win-win situation!

Nice smoking of the EC Crack, given that the EC runs on the 2D graphics, and that the method in which they are displayed makes them more fuzzy and pixelated than they appear in the 2D client.

But hey, nothing like drinking the kool-aid and waving the pompoms, right?
