Most craftsmen know what a grind it is to try to get all the recipes for their skill(s). You keep getting the same darn recipes over and over again. Yes, you do have a thrill when getting an uncommon and especially a rare recipe, but that can be hours of work in Heartwood for one darn random recipe.
So I propose a new inscription-crafted item similar to a Scroll Binder -- a Recipe Binder (RB). It would have characteristics similar to the following:
1) each RB would only accept recipes from one craft skill, and return a recipe of that skill
** Since Scrapper's Compendium is obtained from tinkering quests,
** it wold be grouped with tinkering recipes.
2) each RB would only accept one level of recipes
** e.g. common or uncommon
3) 12 common recipes would yield one uncommon recipe
4) 8 uncommon recipes would yield one rare (artifact) recipe
5) The Heartwood recipe drop rate would be unaffected.
I personally would like to be able to choose the resultant recipe. However, if the devs felt this would make it "too easy", then a random recipe would be acceptable. We'd still be way ahead of where we are now!
