Problems with sheep statue

I have a sheep statue but the resources that gives are only lesther. It's a lot of days, it's not random wool of leather. It's ONLY leather.
There is someone that have my same problem?
Or it's a bug?

hmm you would think a sheep statue would only give out wool for its resource?

that would leave it open to make a bull statue that gave out leather?

How long have you had it? Isn't it a little early to say it ONLY gives leather if it's random? Plus you have to take the leather out, in order to have a chance at another type. If you leave it in, you will keep getting that type.

I have one statue that gave me spined 4 days in a row. Other statues give other resrouces. I do not think it matters if you leave the stuff on the statue or not. The resources get "created" when you doubleclick the statue. I took the resources from 3 statues which had 20 each. I got 10 plain 20 spined 10 bardbed 20 wool. I will check again in a couple days and put the results here.

I don't want to come off as being rude, but technically, if it is truely random, then there is a possibility that you will only EVER get leather. It's extremely slim, but the chance is there.

I'd give it another week or two. I haven't heard of anyone else with this issue so far, but I think your random drops are all coming up leather right now.

Lots of people are bringing up bugs or perceived issues with the latest publish. No harm in asking or noting something.

As a side note, did you get anything else besides leather yet?

What all does it give? Obviosly spined and plain leather, and wool of course. Anything else?

All the leather types and wool randomly. I'm not certain if there is a lesser chance for more rare materials or not..... The description given is below:

7th year Sheep Statue – This statue is a resource giver, it will give you 10 pieces of a random hide or wool. This caps at 100 resources so make sure you collect your items.

Ivory, what maybe you can try to do is unsecure or unlock your new sheep statue. Remove the leather first ! Then move it over a couple of tiles and resecure the sheep statue back down in new spot.

Maybe that moving the statue over a tile or two,
will confuse ye lil sheep statue
maybe then it will begin to give you more of a variety of resources,
that it is supposed to be doing.

Or maybe it does 100 of one same thing then switches to another resource doing 100 of it next time ...it's new so we don't know yet.

*maybe* just move it a tile or two, anyhow, just to see what happens !

Spined leather another time
Now i've moved it 2 tlles back like QueenZen has sayed. Did the menu to set it to nothing
Let's see what happens tomorrow

My 4 statues on SP had 40 resources each today:

sheep 1: 10 wool 10 horned 10 barbed 10 wool (the one that gave 4 times spined in a row)
sheep 2: 10 spined 10 spined 10 leather 10 horned
sheep 3: 10 leather 10 wool 10 wool 10 barbed
sheep 4: 10 barbed 10 wool 10 spined 10 barbed

Working as intended i suppose.

No wool at all
