Problems with bone deamon quest

The problem is this: I cannot accept the quest on either account!

After I put taming on Luck too (about 3 months ago), I went to farm some skulls... well for some reason she couldnt take the quest. When I say couldnt take it, I mean when I click Victoria the Sorceress, the option for "Ask about Cyloth" is not there. So I couldnt figure out why since i didnt have the quest already started or anything like that. So I tried on Zerial and he was able to take the quest just fine, so I used him to start the quests. Then last night, after using my last skull, I went to get bones, then on to kill the bone deamon...well guess what? Now Zerial cannot take the quest either.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so, whats the fix?
Paged a GM on Luck the other night and got the canned response.
Paging now on Z to see if I get a better answer maybe, but I think people here might be more helpful!

Possible solutions:

1. You are already doing another of the 'old' quests. Click yourself, see if the 'quest' context menu is there. If it is, there's your problem. You can only do one of the traditional quests (Hag, Collectors (boo, hiss at devs), Solen, Doom) at a time.

2. You've already accepted the quest without realising it. Unlikely, but... try dropping a daemon bone on her, and see what happens.

3. It's a bug. Fight your way through the EA support web pages. Painful, but slightly quicker than waiting for a GM some days.

Oh, and if anyone needs daemon bones, and if I can find any spare moments to actually be around this week, I have a ton of the pesky things. I may try to find the time to set up a vendor at my shop... any suggestions on how many to sell per pile, and how much to charge per pile? (1000, the amount needed for the quest, is too heavy for folks to buy in one bundle)

as far as the bones, would be nice if they were deedable, but I dont think(could be wrong) they are... but Id buy em!

Otto, you win! and its funny what quest I had hung up.....Fishing for Rainbow Pearls! (collectors quest) Im not sure anyone would remember, but my big thing for awhile was trying to get them to fix that quest for us on siege. Gave up on that hehe.

Didn´t even know the Collector´s quest existed here on Siege...

That´s my favourite one on Europa.

Yes it does, and unless something changed, I believe the only thing that isnt there on siege is the rainbow pearls. The first part where you have to fish from right outside where Elwood is at (Ocllo on siege), there are no rainbow pearls to fish for. All the npcs are there, everything else should work...just give us some rainbow pearls!

Och, aye - but, keep in mind, th' only thing ye've found SO FAR that doesna work is yon pearls. We've ne'er bin able ta git past that spot ta test th' rest! Fer all we know, we canna get piccies o th' beasts later in th' quest orn account o them all havin' ta be in Trammel, or summat stoopid.

But aye, ah'd love ta git one o yon rare (mythylogical?) statues wit me own name orn it here. Let's go toss some cabres at yon devs!

I am glad I could help! And I am equally glad that twas not solution 3!

As to the rainbow pearls, while I cannot find the actual posts at the moment, I KNOW that we have had at least one, possibly two, devs PROMISE to fix the issue.

A week ago, I asked what we should nag the devs about in 2008. Perhaps this would be a good prospect? *wanders over to U-Hell to do some nagging*

If it makes you feel any better, Petra posted a reminder today on U.Hall, that the rainbow pearl quest, 2+ years after ML launch, still does not work on Siege. Jeremy replied in the thread that she would pass it along, so that is something at least.
