Problems in the CEO AGAIN!!

Well, the last few CEOs went really well for me. It had been forever since I had gone because of all the problems in there and I lost laff trying to get the jump and run down again but it was fine. Last night a few of us attempted a CEO in river. What a mess!!! The cog round was fine but when we got to the feeding round it was ridiculous. We had big cheeses everywhere and the conveyor would NOT give me a can!! At one point there were 4 toons there going up to the belt backing away, going back up to the belt, and nothing. I personally lost at least a full minute at the belt trying to get cans. One little blue duck was just standing there not even attempting to feed the cogs. Dwight unfortunately lost connection at the start of the second cog round. As you can imagine we had a lot of them left!! Dwight was on my side and after the other side finished, they all ran around instead of coming over and helping us. We were almost finished but still, they could have come and helped us. One had his table all picked out (that same little blue duck) and one was dancing by the CEO so she could get in the picture!! After multiple level 7s, we made it through that round. When we got to the seltzer round, it wouldnt let us on the tables!! It was just crazy. You would go up to a table and it wouldn't let you on. After several attempts I went to a diff table and same thing. Finally I got on, jumped off when he yelled "FORE" and then, of course, couldnt get back on! I was never run over but I saw one toons table collapse right next to me and the CEO was no where even near her!! She kept yelling "did you see that?". I just couldnt believe that. In all the problems that were happening earlier, I have never seen a table collapse like that without the CEO even being in the same zip code!!! She was trapped for a very long time like that. A few times I would hit my Esc key to get off the table and nothing happened or the start screen would show up. I was making very sure I wasnt still holding the Ctrl key down at the same time. Luckily he changed direction right before he got to me or I was able to click the X to get off in time.

There were soon only 6 of us and a couple were just grazing at the snack belt. Maybe its just me but one other thing that ticked me off was one toon who started saying "Lets use TU" and "This Way", "Follow Me", and "Hurry". I was at 98 laff but I figured, I should go because I may need those points later. Well, we all get over there and she is still yelling "Hurry"!!! She had NO intention of USING a unite!! She WANTED one. All the toons are just jumping around yelling "Hurry"!! I really don't mind helping other toons and I will use my unites to help anyone. I did use a unite, BUT I didnt appreciate another toon just expecting me to save her. You should yell "I need more laff points" or "Help" not tell everyone to follow you!!! Another toon used a unite just for herself early on. Towards the end I heard Sally S yell "Lets use TU" but I was on the other side of the room and the next thing I knew she was gone. In the end 5 of the 8 danced. It was a mess from the start!!

Rememeber those stupid things don't know who carries what in unites. Smusher I think he has a gag up squirt LOL.

Don't be giving your hand to losers because there WILL be a time when you really need it. It took you yea many mints and many successful CFOs before you got that unite, and it's far more valuable for anyone to demand it from anyone.

No kidding! Just finished one in river as a matter of fact (all 33 laff of me!). The lag is getting horrible again and I was actually stunk once in there. I had to use a unite on myself as I was sitting under him squished. The others apparently thought I should HOPE that he moves soon and I live.. or die trying so they can have my unite. It was just a 20 anyway... jeez.... I'm really trying to not go in river but ccg doesn't even run until this afternoon and I do want to max before bringing the new McWolf out of the closet.

Sounds like fun times again. After I got off I feel asleep i think that CFO wore me out. LOL!! I was planning on going but I was in dreamland. I have to say the lag in river is getting bad everywhere. Susan remember the last few DAs where horrible. You cannot see anyone gags but your own plus when everyone picks the clocks still runs down to 0 and then pauses. I dont know if the servers are getting too overloaded or what. I hope these issues get better. You know me that toon would have been waiting for a tu becuase no one tells me how to use my unites. Now if a friend was on a last leg and said help then Yes I will help them out or a random even.

I remember Dwight's table flattening in the last CEO run I went on with Stratics. I thought it was a fluke, cuz the CEO was at least a table length away heading for someone else.

That was Savanna's Sally S in the CEO (I was watching a movie)....and she told me that the little blue duck (120's laff I think) was constantly at the belt getting snacks when he/she didn't even need them. She went over to get some, and he was hogging it, and she went sad while he had over 100 laff left and all he had to say was "Ha!Ha!"....Poor thing came in my room after that and was a little upset...She said it was an awful CEO.

I never thought about it being lag but your right. In the DAs and such you almost never see anyone elses gag choice but we are able to talk and the clock certainly goes down to zero. It was just strange last night because I was moving without any lag whatsoever and of course that clock in the feeding round was certainly not lagging. I am not a computer person but I don't understand why we could move and talk without problems but couldnt pick up a can or get on a table. Everything else was just fine. Then that table collapse......the CEO was literally accross the room and we were just squirting away. Could THAT be lag? I think they need to reset river at least every night like at 5am EST or something so that people who park themselves for weeks at a time are unable to ruin it for everyone else!!

I really didnt mind using the unite, thats why I have them. I didnt want the toons that were actually helping to go sad either. It was the way it happened that bugged me!! If she had asked for a tu instead of expecting it I would have been more than willing. I have also used a unite without calling everyone together in an emergency too. The toon that used it wasnt under a table or anything but maybe it was an unexpected laff loss and she didnt have time. That just wasnt the impression I got cuz she never left her table. I have seen a toon running to the snack table and had time to check and see that they were at like 15. I ran over and used a unite so they didnt go sad. I didnt say lets use TU cuz she may have gone sad before anyone else got there. Flippers was totally right in that this toon had no idea if anyone had any unites or not!! We all took another 15 hit waiting for her to throw it!! Oh well. That is river and randoms!!! You just never know!!!

I am so sorry Savanna went sad. I was fighting with my computer, my table, and everything else so much I had no time to check anyone's laff. By the time she called "lets use TU" it was too late. I was just too far away. I didnt see that blue duck say ha ha. Did he whisper it? That is really nasty. He was a problem right from the start!! Now if I could only remember his name!!!

edit: Steve...but when we are lagging that bad in the DA we have problems running and jumping lights and such too. There was none of this in that CEO for me. Thats why I never thought about it being lag, but yeah it probably was. My computer illiterate brain just can't understand how it could be so selective!!!

Yeah, she said that she said "save the snacks..." and from that moment on he was whispering rudely and laughing at her. I just don't understand some people. I mean, I know she's a kid, and sometimes she makes some goofy choices in battle and stuff, but all around, she's a good and fair player and she's nice to everyone (except ME)...Why someone would purposely try to ruin a game for a kid is beyond me.

I'm sure it was lag. River was at its worst last night. Even alone in the fac I was facing 25 sec delays after engaging cogs.

Hmmm.....Does anyone have a clue why the lag could be so selective? I don't remember having any problems seeing others gag choices, I didnt seem to be lagging as I ran from table to table, and when he threw gears (my bane last nite) it didnt seem to lag. I know my hubby has selective hearing, but a CEO that has selective lag??? I think after this next game launches, I will suggest to Josh to write a book called "River lag for Dummies"!!! I just dont understand!! LOL I really SHOULD have just helped you get your options last night Trish!!! It would have been a whole lot less stressful!!!

And OUCH to the CEO horror story, it sounds almost like it's worse than before.
