I'm no longer really annoyed though... Really I think it's kinda funny the lengths people will go, if ya know what I mean... I support most things, pking, thieving, even some things that are frowned upon, but this I just cannot.

edit: do these spawn in fel anywhere?

You want to see greifing at its worse goto any Fel event and watch the larger guilds just screw you up..

Greifing is a pure form of stoping anyone else from enjoying the game,,its call ban there dam 12 year old ass out of the game..

Have i tryed to tame one yet...no...will i who knows..

Im in no rush , ill let them tire out....But putting them all in one spot is plain stupid ..

Oh well have fun, im taking a week off for now...Maybe they will make this event 3 months long..

I'm done with this all together... A GM showed up and announced to everyone that pages on this matter will not be dealt with and kill stealing is allowed even as the fellow admitted right in front of the GM that he wasn't just stealing kills, he was doing it to **** everyone off... (Note thats not a quote but it was easy enough to understand)

note: I understand kill stealing is allowed, it doesn't mean I have to agree with it.)

Well am one for equal justice. Im not one that only chooses certain parts of the ROC to follow and convict others who break the ones I agree with. Do what you must I say if you want to take actions. I'll be by later to get a list of all the griefter names and affiliations if on there real characters which it looks like they will have to be. I assure you they will all be eventualy gotten equal justice on them and they won't even know why.

It's strange how different shards are having different experiences. I'm on Europa and have actually been enjoying it very much.

Well I was standing on the flag killing ophids and getting no loyalty points played for 4 hours this am and killed hundreds if not thousands and think i have 59 points now!!
then the banes start attacking my pets but NOT me ! I peaced em and everything i could think of!!

so i go to the abyss and decide to try that ! Find a guy trying to tame a dragon so I stay and heal him and cure him while he tries! and what happens these guys run in and kill the poor guys critter he is trying to tame!

so now i go inside and start beating on one of my own and start to tame it and the same guys run in and kill it !! ok now this is just getting bad so i ask whats up with that and you know what they say!! blame it on the other tamer kid!! (first off i am not a kid) and the other tamer was not even on the screen !!

so now I am taking a break and going to try again later tonight when the real kids are in bed! (I hope)

anyway thats been my FUN for the last 6 hours

when the dread event was out we would knock the rider off in cove and lure the dread over the server line so it was hidden. than tame it after the rider got killed off. me and two others were up all nite taming dreads because of the griefing that took place during prime time. however by the end of the event they were easy to get as the immature small brain people had moved onto something else by then.

And those could be tamed in Felucca, which gave you ways to get rid of griefers...

I suspect the person who came up with this single facet spawn hasn't seen what tamers and other players can be like when they have to co-operate with each other. They will now lol.

It's going to be frustration for some getting a bane draggy. I kinda thought they'd have learned after the dread taming silliness. Third time lucky perhaps

Well i did say i was going t owait a week..
I decided to go see how things were doing after watching the world chat complaints..

After removing the jerks and just being nice,,things whent very well and people took turns or help tame for others..

Of course some people did keep the beter tames for themselfs, but its to be expected..

But all in all it wasent to bad..This is on GL..

And by the way i dont think you should be able to hide guild tags..so if your being a jerk let everyone know what guild your in..

It isn't single facet. I have seen the bane forces in Felucca on Europa. Sadly I had to make a hasty retreat because the hunters working them also saw me and I've killed a couple of bane riders myself in Tram

Reports are that only the bane dragons near Slasher are tamable. If you attempt to tame them in tram/fel T2A, you receive the message, "This creature cannot be tamed."

bring a friend to heal/cure or peace makes it much easier and faster and trust me you want to get it as fast as you can before someone comes along !!

That is not the problem at all, taming them is a cakewalk. On Atl people are killing them if they don't get the tame, killing them if they already have some or hiding after they tame so there is no respawn. I don't think any have been tamed in two hours at least they have all been killed.

Initially, there was a group of five or six who were committed to ensuring that everyone received a bane. This group included myself, Vlad, a couple folks from HOT, ChReuter, shulginist... Was working well, until someone tamed one and hid in the area to prevent further banes from spawning.

My first action is to cooperate with every tamer on our shard... including those who are in guilds that we are normally pitted against.. however, when they start pulling the childish crap.... I'll work to make their efforts fruitless.

Had the same situation with a tamer in an opposing guild coming in to try to steal the tame I was working on. When he couldn't get it, he killed it. So I spent the next 30 minutes following him and killing every one he tried to tame. Only then did he speak to me.. to which point I told him if he wasn't gonna play nice to expect what he got in return. From that moment on ... he was decent.

Amazing how when the shoe's on the other foot it dawns on these children to play nicely.

If no one is wanting to get another one, I'll spend some time farming for better spawns. But the moment someone shows up to get theirs.. I'll help them get their own.

what they should have done was make the ones in the event spawn also tamable.

that way there would be 3 areas for the time the event is on to tame them.
and then the 'big rush' would be fed.

plus then people who have red tamers could have one.

Gotta agree with that. Initially, there were a couple HOT folks who helped me tame mine. But the HOT folks who were griefing later need to gtfo.

Great attitude, Yalp... even if I don't play on your shard I do appreciate the cooperation.

I am out of town this week and can't do the event until next week... I just hope this runs for a little while so everyone gets a chance at both the battle lines and the bane dragon taming.

Any of the above. The issue at hand isn't people having trouble with the actual tame itself it is other players making it difficult/impossible. At least those are my impressions from my personal experiences. There was a new tamer who used an advanced char token and items/jewelry the same day he tamed a bane so if he could do it basically anyone could if given the opportunity.

One thing that helps is luring all of the hell hounds or taming them and dragging off a few screes and releasing to clear the area up.
