problem with submitting report to GM

I am trying to alert GM's to a hidden, stealthing, scripting Luna book spammer but it is tough to do so when the character is hidden, it will not let me page a GM without typing the name, targeting the player, etc.. can anything be done about this or do we have to just deal with it? keep in mind these people could be spamming anything including pornographic or other material and we would have no way to do anything about it.

Luna is spammed with 100's of these books numerous times per day.

not sure but doesnt Tracking skill give you the stealthers name at least? maybe not in tram rulesets.

Worst part is that its probably a trial account so if banned or punished theyll start a new one.

People would block him using crates and such in Luna..

They probably change the author to the website name address.

Would be nice if there is a unique author number inside the book, So all you have to do is hand the book in to a GM and the character is dealt with.

no it's not, the GM's can find where the guy keeps all his gold and ban his accounts

On a good note, I paged a GM on LA to fix a problem with one of my characters having his Physical Resist stuck at -15. One showed up in less than 3 min and took care of the problem. So GMs are out there and do help--sometimes

character name is Screech. I was able to page on him again today.

Facts:

#1 the 2 times I've caught him (today and earlier this week) he is on the character Screech
#2 he seems to run clockwise around Luna road
#3 he drops 100's of books several times per day
#4 he is always in stealth mode

again, this has been going on for weeks if not months

this is just an idea. ignore them. If he isn't spamming screen and just leaving books you can pay no attention. If you want them disrupted get on the bandwagon the fel pvpers want. Tell the Devs to get rid of guard zones in fel. We'll kill them as soon as they come through our gates and disrupt their scripts.

he is spamming the screen, with books. it's pervasive and I'm not the only one who is pissed off about it.

If you want them disrupted get on the bandwagon the fel pvpers want. Tell the Devs to get rid of guard zones in fel. We'll kill them as soon as they come through our gates and disrupt their scripts.

I wish you could come kill him (I would myself) but Luna is part of Trammel and we both know that is not going to change.

I didn't as for your advice on what I should do with my time, as you said yourself I pay for UO and I can do what I want including report behavior that is disruptive. I would note that you've decided to spend your time posting on Stratics to tell me how I should be spending my time. consider the hypocrisy. same goes for you Omnius.

EA can investigate this person and ban all of his accounts including those where he keeps his gold. nothing prevents them from going beyond the 1 trial account and shutting this guy down permanently.

I just don't get this at all. I agree that it is annoying, breaking the TOS for in game advertizing and probably using a script.

BUT, you spent months arguing how EA should allow everyone to use "harmless" scripts that don't hurt anyone else. What changed? Are you against all scripting and breaking the TOS, or is it only some scripts and TOS violations that bother you?

The books are a great way for my noncombat mule to get gold to fill normal weapon BODs. By selling the books. And now with the dropping of more books just more BOD filling.

Mostly that a GM works for rice.....and........get what you pay for.

Just do what I do, like when I see the Syndicate spamming their books from time to time around my shard... pop them in the trash.

It really isn't that tragic that it should ruin your game experience.
