[Discussion] Price guide? or Pricing questions

I have just recently returned to playing after a couple of years off.. So many things have changed..
Once upon a time there was a website where you could go and enter the mods on an item and it would give you an estimated value.. Is there any such thing like that available today?

It seems the price structure along with all the new artifacts in drops has changed how things are priced..
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

It can be difficult, cause the price is based on the items mod matching what a player needs.

Lets use the legs your selling on the board, very nice legs, great mods, high ticket item, one issue, lmc is low, max is 10 for that, now someone needing 10 lmc on there legs sees no value, where someone who only needs 6 lmc on the legs and wants max other mods, will find that highly desirable, add stratics bidding war, and you would be suprised how high an item can go. Also physic resist is low, if person needs a 20+ phys resist piece, out of the question no matter what now.

It can be very random.

I recommend watching the forums, and look at older pages (go back 2-10 pages) and see how much some of the items are selling for you. After awhile youll notice its only certain mods on certian items that make them desirable and it gives you an """"idea"""" of what it should be going for. But I do recommend always doing a proper auction, a player with 10 bil gold doesnt really care if he spends 50mil extra on a piece if its that last piece he needs and yours fits the build.

I hope this helped. I returned a year and a half ago and had same issue, finally got used to stuff, and loot 2.0 comes out and changed everything. I farmed cove 3 for 3 months to find 1 greater artifact clean, and then bam, new system lol

That does help! And thank you for the explanation and suggestions! I am so confused by the new loot.. Just trying to figure out the value of things these days!
