(Question) Price Checks on Seeds of Renewal

Every vendor I go to its always the same... 25K per seed.

Yes they may be hard to get... Yes if you want something your gonna have to pay for it.

As a imbuer I need you to understand something. If a normal suit wants to be upper class then I desire it to have MR2 and HPR2. That means all 6 pieces take a total of 120 seeds. Meaning 3 million JUST FOR SEEDS! Every other imbueing addy is going for 10k, even fragments are going for 5-10k per (I know this cause ive sold over 500 frags for 5-10k per since Shame opened).

Im not trying to shoot down the hard work needed to plant-farm the seeds. Day after day I walk past the same vendors in Zento/Magicina/Luna all with seeds at 10 for 250k... and they continue to sit there. Maybe there selling like hotcakes and the owners just replacing them EXACTLY in the same spot and the same way... Hell I dunno.

If you wanna sell your seeds and are willing to accept 10k per then either place them on at that price or PM me. Im also willing to do trades on other imbueing resources for the seeds, maybe something easy for me to get will make things easier on you.

As a final note be aware that armor items as well as jewels are dropping MR4 and HPR4 in shame. Only pointing this out so you understand that MAYBE a new price check is in order.

ya get 72 seed every couple weeks and ya only get 1-2 seeds or renewal outta those 72 Hell last time i didnt even get one so i average 1-4 seeds of renewal a month off

Isn't there a spawn that drops um? And if so how many do you people think you get per (say) hour of farming said spawn?

Reguardless... I think theres a miss-balance somewhere going on about practical uses VS ability to get them in any large amount.

And again some KOC are coming back, as my (was leaving) cry post showed and have seen in Gen Chat. You hunting others (but mostly me) down only for the knowledge of making them (me) unhappy again shows you the quality of KOC previous members. Your responce just shows that your concern is not with the community or keeping people here... just killing someone and trying your best to make um leave.

I've never understood why you always hate on the PK'er playstyle. In particular KOC. There used to be a **** named Puffy that played. He killed me in my house once and looted my corpse... and WE WERE GUILDED! If you played with me or against me, then you know I ran some nice suits. About 3mill a pop. But you don't see me crying about that 5 years later? NO!

You think the PK'ers are only killing you? That's crazy. I remember back at the height of my playing I would kill anyone and everyone in sight. Didn't matter if you were Blue, Grey, Red or GREEN!! Then if I saw you again later, I killed you again. It's a fun playstyle, it just so happens that people like you take this game way to seriously and take it personal when you get killed.

Astynax's tips for success: (take note Siege Perilous) Practice and become the best at your template, chill out, have fun, be in a guild and be better than everyone else! Oh and it's always nice to have your tamer on a second client and your main pvper on your main client hidden near you!! so if you do get attacked, you can pwn the living hell out of them! Also, faction runes/monster ignore. I don't want to hear that "oh faction sucks" or "faction items are cheap." Bottom line is they keep you alive in situations where you might die! That's enough for me. WIN AT ALL COSTS!

Well - except from some very brief visits i never really played on Siege until now and so far i got quite a good impression of this shard - i have to admit that some post in this thread may
make me think again.

I am a Veteran Player, played Pre Trammel and witnessed all the hassle on a very busy and crowded shard at that time (Europa) - and some of this sounds like a deja vue.
There were some reasons and issues leading to the 'Trammel-Solution' as a result - everybody should considder this and should show some respect for other players, if not things may end up in something nobody really wants.

Or maybe i am to sensible and this is just some board-pvp, giving people a reason for the slack in game - if thats the case, just ignore me ;-)

You use that as a statement of truth to justify your actions. PvP is one thing, griefing PvP style is not. When OTF/KOC would cut peoples armor up and toss it on the ground, you as the cutter probably thought that was the funnest PvP action you (they) ever did.

You also chant the "If you can't handle it then you don't deserve to be here". That may have worked 5 years ago, but not now. We now have almost no one left.

So you stand up on that mountain all alone... King of a mountain of the dead. Thats even if you even play on THIS shard anymore... and im not talking about when the one you do play on goes down for maintainance.

The thing that made that fun was the effect it had on the certain shard lunatics like .... certain folks. Not saying its you of course.

Seeds of renewal are available with stated drop rate of 5% from plants or from the ratmen spawn in Cavern of the Discarded. It is perfectly possible to complete, solo, an entire spawn from 'scroungers', 'assistants' or 'supplicants' to the relevant renowned without getting a single seed. - I know, I've done it

Average drop rate for seeds of renewal seems to be inbetween 1 and 2 seeds per ratmen spawn for longer runs. Considering the risk involved, its not worth selling them for 10k.
If someone is growing plants and doesnt need the seeds, 10k may be fine, if you hunt for them its not.

i agree, the longness need to farm them eaisly make them 25k each as they are over 5x harder to farm as to essence. if we sell essence at 5k-10k then this price (25k) is fine. the garden beds again are a long time to get few seeds.
