I can make 12k points, 70k gold, and 500 each necro reg every 20 mins. Based on this I disagree with your assumption of the "Going Rate". I do not believe making approx 500k a HOUR is justifable. While I have no issue giving you all my gold and standing naked and excited in front of you my everlasting sexy mongbat lover, I won't pay the same to other (father & son) horders who happen to have 100000 globes and boxes and live on Siege only to PvP (grief style) and IDOC (wont mention name we all El despiseo).
I dont disagree with you guardian on everything you state. But the reason i like the 100k/10k ratio is due to the fact that those that have a over abundance of points traded in some very pricy items. We shopped and saved up tons of stuff just to get lots of points. The vast majority of siege isnt really going to farm for points. They would rather farm for gold to buy what they want. If you think of past spring cleanings. Once they were over the prices shot so high nobody wanted to buy. The sorc suit alone was selling for 4-5 mill per piece. At this lower rate it makes it a easier to aquire set for those that want a throwaway suit. The problem with going with your 50k/10k is the suits loose thier value by a lot. That makes the new suits a mear 1 mill gold for a complete suit. You stand to loose a ton of potential gold that way.
Ive always played siege as a merchant. The way pvp'rs play the numbers games in thier armor and weapon stats, I play the numbers game when it comes to buying/selling things. I do alot of research. While you farm for hours on end, i do reading, math, and research on prices of items and thier potential value both now and in the future. I gave people the chance to vote on a option or reply with a reason why it should be lower. The majority voted that 100k was a reasonable price.
My words of wisdom has always been the price is in the eyes of the seller. Vendors like you that sell at that price make me happy because i can turn around and buy your stuff and resell for a 50% profit margin. I make hundreds of rounds a day between all the vendors. Looking for great deals that i can profit off of without going overpriced. BUT what seperates me from greedy people is if i see something overpriced or mispriced i message the seller and let them know my opinion. (give pricing advice).
Again tho i state that i do not disagree with you, i would be happy to sell at 50k/10k but too me i feel that is cutting yourself short.
I still love you tho!
